I found ours because whomever wrote the stateroom report for our cabin mentioned it. But there might be other ways of finding out :confused3
Anyone know?

That sounds like a really good plan, so that's most probably what we will do!
(Unless we should take a cab to the terminal even earlier than 10:00? I have read so many different opinions on this, but lots of people say that it is good to arrive even as early as 9:00 or 9:30 and since we will still be jetlagged, we will be up at 6:00 anyway ;). What do you all think about arriving before 10:00?)
It's nice to get to the terminal early because you beat the big rush and can get checked in as soon as you arrive. If you haven't Cruised Disney before you know you can do early checkin on line and when you get there the paper work is done and they have everything they need. During checkin you will be assigned a group boarding number. When your group number is called you can board. As I said before they start boarding at 11:00AM. I hope this info helps.

If things are still the same . . .according to the stateroom reports here on the DIS, our drill will be in Animators Palate as well
Oh good, so we can already meet each other while wearing huge and ungainly life vests! :lmao:
No, honestly, please do have a look at our pictures in my dining report thread, and if you recognize us at the drill, give us a wave or say hello! :yay:

(By the way, I also have the info from the stateroom reports here, so we'll see if it is true. )

Oh, and thanks for the countdown - getting closer and closer!

Thank you! Yes, I knew about the numbers, but I wasn't really aware of the online checkin. I guess we will do that before flying out to Florida, it sounds like a really good idea.

No, I haven't yet found any other source for that info. Like Deb already said, I found it here. I know you said you were in 7001, mommy2777, and I just had a look at that stateroom entry but unfortunately there is no mention of the drill location.

I made our flight reservations yesterday, so we are one step closer! :woohoo:

Woohoo, getting ever closer to the trip!! :cool1:

How many hours of flying do you have ahead of you in order to get to Orlando? DH and I are looking at a 50-minute flight, then a few hours layover, and then another ten hours flight to Orlando. Never looking forward to that part of our trip :scared:

It ends up being around 7 hours air time total. We have about a 1 - 1/2 hour flight then a small layover then about 51/2- 6 hours the rest of the way. I have done it a few times with just DD and myself... it will be interesting with 2 kiddos though! Especially with all the new airline restrictions!

With the route we are taking, we have an hour and a half flight, a two hour lay-over and then a 6 hour flight to Orlando. It will be a very long day, especially with a three year-old :Pinkbounc and a 6 mo baby! :jumping3: It should be interesting. :rotfl: 4 adults - 2 kids . . .we should be ok! :cutie:

OH YEAH and as for arriving times at the port, we arrived around 9:30 or 10 last time, wouldve been more like 9-9:30 but by the time we got the limo packed with 12 peoples luggage and so on we were a little later than i wanted to be. BUT arrive as early as possible, for all you 1st timers.....arriving early lets you get all checked in, check out the ship from the balcony, take some pics with characters and the mini ship (exact replicaof the ship) and meet some DISSERS of course!

by a show of hands who wants to see my pics of our last cruise? hehehe im getting the fever! has anyone heard of the magic going into drydock and what changes will be made? i've looked but cant find anything.:confused3

That would be nice. We still have to travel from Orlando to the port the AM of the cruise.

She will be in dry dock right before our cruise. We will be the first sailing on the new and improved Magic. I haven't heard what changes they are planning.

Yes, if you would like to post some pictures that'd be nice! popcorn::

I also envy you for the short distance to the port ... But on the other hand, for us this whole "visiting Florida" thing is really an enhanted journey because it takes us so long to get there, it envolves so much planning, the excitement rises to fever pitch even on the way to the airport, and so on ... so I really wouldn't want to miss it (even though I bicker about it all the time ;))
