Wow, there sure is not much activity going on here. I found us back on page 3. Whatsup everyone!!!! I guess everybody is busy now.
I had my root canal yesterday. What a way to spend a vacation, huh?!!?? Only had to slap the dentist twice!!! He really is a nice guy, but before the novacane kicked in he was checking out my tooth with some sort of pick.................first slap. Then some where in the middle of the procedure he was drilling away and struck a nerve that was not fully numb..............second slap. After the second slap when he thought he might have hurt me he would pull away pretty fast and give out a little scream. (He screams like a girl!!!!!)Today I'm sore from having my mouth stretched so muck and my jaw is sore too, but the tooth ache is gone!!!
Well, I hope everyone is having a good week. Mine can only get better from this point on!!! Oh yes, we are heading over to Disney World Friday morning for a couple of days. See ya'll again real soon.

How close are you to Disney? Must be nice to just take a trip for a couple of days. For us, we live in Central NY so it just isn't worth it to go for less than a week. DH has talked about moving to the upper part of Florida but neither of us are fond of the heat...although he says it isn't bad because you just stay in the air conditioning. He lived in Florida and Virginia for a few years each as a kid.

Our next trip to WDW is the first part of December for a week. It will be me, DH, DD2.5, MIL, and our 19 year old neice. DH's uncle may join us for a day or two...he lives in Stuart, FL but has never been to WDW This will be our first time to see WDW decorated for Christmas and we did buy party tickets. Can't wait

Hi LC. Well to answer your question we live on the west coast of FL not too far from Tampa. It takes us about an hour and a half to drive over to WDW. Not a bad drive really at all. We go over to WDW several times a year. Living down here does take some adjustment to the heat. But us locals have learned to not hit the parks from about May thru September, our hottest months. Unless you are going to take in one of the water parks at Disney. But to walk around at the park during the day can take it's toll on a person. Don't get me wrong, we do visit at all times of the year. But if it is in the hottest part of the year we go over to one of the parks in the morning, leave around noon. Eat lunch just before leaving the park, if we have a reservation, or eat at our hotel. Spend the afternoon at the pool, take a nap in the room, and then go back over to the park of our choice in the evening when it's cooler.
You are going to love seeing the Magic Kingdom all decorated for Christmas. We have been over there several times. Not going this year though....darn it!!

We talk and joke around for a bit. We say our good-bys and I say talk to you later Mic. And as I walk away I hear him say idiot. We laugh, and laugh, and laugh. Well, DW tells me it is now my turn to get on our torture machine. If I survive, I will check back and see how ya'll are doing after torturing myself.

We just went this past May and we were sooo hot and uncomfortable. We did go to the parks early and break about lunchtime and back in the evenings. But even mornings were hot. We were the lucky ones though because from what I understand that next week rained alllll week long. We usually go in November which is cooler, although for our honeymoon, now 15 years ago, it was 98 degrees every day...wow, was it hot all week!

Torture machine? I assume you mean an excercise machine? We just bought an oliptical machine the other day...it is so quiet but it sure gives you a workout.

We thought about driving only at night but then during the day when DD3.5 is active, we will be exhausted so we are driving during the day and staying in hotels for 3 nights. Taking our time somewhat and making a few stops. Lurray Caverns in VA will be our first break, followed by lunch in Staunton, VA (DH used to live there) but I'm not sure where to stop on the next day....I guess we'll just wait and see if anything looks interesting along the way...even if we just find a playground for DD3.5 to expend some energy.

Yep that's what we have to, an eliptical torture machine. It does work. DW and I have been using it for about a year now. And, I have lost around 25 pounds. I wasn't real heavy, but my dr. thought it would be a good idea to lose a few pounds. He said to do something that got the ol' ticker working harder too, to keep it in shape. So we bought an eliptical machine. I call it the torture machine. But it do work. Even for an ol' gizzer like me.

I'm afraid I have a wee bit more than that to lose. If I could just get myself to excercise regularly and not get that second helping at dinner, I think I could lose most of it.
