I booked a few weeks ago and am already thinking about the logistics of packing...does this make me crazy to be thinking about that already? :lmao: I think once the intial excitement wears off, I will be ok. I have also been looking at excursions and information about Key West...I've already been to Cozumel and Grand Cayman but have been trying to decide if we want to get off the ship. We enjoy the ships and sometimes don't even get off. Of course Castaway Cay we are definitely getting off!

All,

Sorry to say, but we are changing our cruise. We won't be on this cruise, but will take a 7 day Eastern sailing on Nov 6th. I hope you all have fun.

No sir'eee, it don't make you crazy to be thinking about packing for this cruise already. DW dragged me .......................I mean...........she took me shopping last week-end. She's buying clothes for the cruise. I got a knee brace. Wanted some spandx hot red shorts...............it's good to hear DW laugh so much...............didn't get them though. She said my big fat.......but that's another story!!!:rotfl2::lmao::rotfl: We have to wait until next spring and summer to get our Granddaughter's clothes. Not sure how much she might grow by then. But you can be assured Granddaughter Emily is already looking online for what she wants to buy clothes wise.
Well, better get back to work. Talk to ya'll later.:yay:

:lmao:Glad to hear I'm not crazy. I haven't been shopping for the cruise yet but I did consider buying a pirate costume for DD when they are on clearance after Halloween...DH said that he wants to wait until next year and let DD pick out her own costume...she's 2.5 and it was a challenge to get her to pick her Halloween costume this year so I think next year she will understand better and be more cooperative, I hope.

Remember to vote vote vote

It’s time to name our cruise. I hope everyone is as excited as I am to finally settle on a name.

Here are the details. (I hope everyone is okay with it)

1) You have to be listed on post #5 as a cruiser on this cruise in order to vote. This way we won’t have strangers naming our cruise. We've had a couple of new people join our cruise in the last few days please vote along with everyone else for the name of our cruise.
2) You can only vote once
3) PM both Angiengary AND Annichan your top pick from the list below
4) Voting starts today until October 22nd (extended because we want to make sure everyone has time to vote)

The top three picks for our cruise name are

Bring Back The Magic
Mickey's Mates On The Magic
DIScovering The Caribbean

Remember pm us only 1 of the names above. I will post the winning name on October 23rd after I confirm Annichan and I have the same info.

Let's get voting

I'm so glad you guys are doing your part for the economy! :thumbsup2 We are enjoying the rain and colder weather finally! After a long hot summer of record breaking 100 degree weather and drought, we're grateful to have the rain and cold weather. We went to the pumpkin patch yesterday, DS had a great time with his friends. Enjoying a nice relaxing Sunday at home today.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend.

We went to see Toy Story 1 and 2 in 3D today with some of my son's friends. It was okay. It's very long for a 7 year old. They had one 10 minute break between the two movies.

We saw Couples Retreat last night...it was funny and the scenery was breathtaking. It was filmed on Bora Bora and they had villas on stilts right in the water...I would love that! Better than a cruise balcony but at $1200.00 per night:scared1: the Disney cruise is a bargain.

I can't wait to see Castaway Cay!

Sounds like everyone is having a really nice weekend. Can't wait for the Princess and the Frog. DS liked Ponyo.

Bora Bora is WONDERFUL. We were there pre-DS days and had the most best time. It is by far the most beautiful beaches I've ever been to. Service is exceptional and food is very good. The over the water bungalows are divine. The snorkeling, excursions with rays and sharks are great. Of course, it takes a long time to get over the sticker shock :rotfl2: I just read a couple days ago on a flight by a business trip that the St. Regis Bora Bora had a great kids programs. We would love to go back there some day. I'd better start saving now. :rotfl:

Have a great week everyone.

That sounds like fun. I haven't seen the 3D version. I would love to see to take DS today with the rain but we thought it would be too long for him since he's only 3. We did manage to get Chicken Little in this afternoon. :)

Bora Bora sounds wonderful! At this point, the best beaches I've ever been are on Bermuda. In 2007, we did a cruise out of NYC that had a stop in Bermuda and went to Warwick Long Beach and Jobson's Cove. We walked along a number of other beaches but I don't know their names. The water was a beautiful blue which looked beautiful with the white sand and the black rock formations. We walked up one of the rock formations and the view of the coastline on each side was spectacular. Someday I would like to go back and actually stay on the island.

I'm on VACATION this week guys!!! :cool1::banana::cheer2::yay::yay::yay:
So is DW yea Just kidding Sweetie. You know I love it when we are off together!!!!:scared1::eek:

Hey LCoulter, I was just reading over some of the past posts and came across this one you posted the other day. You guys are going to love Castaway Cay. And, they are making some very neat improvements to Castaway Cay that will be finished when we get there next October. Your DD is going to love some of the new things they are putting in, just for the little ones her age. Heck, you might even find me in line there too!!!!:lmao::rotfl2:
If you haven't seen it yet go to www.disneycruisenews.com In the middle of the page there are stories about what Disney is doing or are planning to do. I think it is the story after the Alaska announcement, it is labeled "Disney Cruise Line Creating More Magic at Castaway Cay." Click on the picture, it will take you to another screen that tells you all about the up grades and at the bottom there is a 3 minute movie you can watch. Check it out if you haven't already done so.
Well, I gots to go and do my excercising. Got to stay in shape for this cruise!!

Thanks for the link...I will check it out. I have heard about the changes and expansion at Castaway Cay and thought that those changes would be done by our cruise time. DH and I will be following right behind our DD in the water feature areas :) ...she will have soooo much fun.
