Hey y’all! Just have to share something with you all that happened on the ship today. You know there are times when something happens that forever changes how you view things. That happened today while we were sitting in the Quiet Cove. It was nearing departure time from Grand Cayman, and they made the announcement they were about to sound the horn, to alert folks still ashore to get to the ship. We prepared by plugging our ears, and the horn sounded twice. At which point our friend from Norene, 1971Visitor, aka Alan “AK” Ricketts sang to the tune of “When You Wish Upon A Star”…. “Get Your butt Back On The Boat”. (he didn't say butt, but I was afraid it would get censored!) At which point the 4 of us and about 10 other people around us that heard it busted out laughing and all but rolled on the floor!!! People that didn’t hear it, but heard us laughing thought we were crazy, and I guess we are!! That horn will never be the same again!!! Hope I didn’t mess it up for y’all, but I just had to share that with you!!! Off to Cozumel, see ya later!!

We (myself, DH and DD2.5) just booked this cruise a few weeks ago. It will be our first Disney cruise but our 12th cruise overall.

It seems such a long, long wait until the cruise. We have never booked this far out for any cruise.

Welcome to our thread. I look forward to getting to know you and your family. I think it was October 2008 when we booked this cruise. It seems like such a long ways away but being on here and getting to know everyone seems to make the time go faster We will be traveling on this cruise with my best friend and her family. We can't wait.

We love cruising but are a little nervous about cruising Disney. We like Princess and it is difficult to try a different line. I have been doing a little research on Disney cruise here on the board so I am feeling a little less nervous about it...I think we'll have a good time with DD.

My daughter Min will be 3.5 when she sails. I hope she handles handles the motion of the ship ok. We were orginally going to book a 3 day cruise just to try it out with her but then changed our mind and booked the 7 day.

Well lets see...................since we booked this cruise I've seen two children grow to adult hood and have children of their own. No not really.................but sometimes it seems like it's been that long. I think we booked back in April of this year. This wiil be our 3rd Disney cruise........we love sailing with Disney. I'm sure you will too!

No not really.................but sometimes it seems like it's been that long. I think we booked back in April of this year. This wiil be our 3rd Disney cruise........we love sailing with Disney. We are excited! We haven't told DD2.5 (she will be 3.5 at cruise time) and are planning to pack up that morning and head to the pier...tell her we are heading to the airport...then point out the ship and ask her if she wants to sail with Mickey.
