My .02 about the name thing . .
I have not given up on BRING BACK THE MAGIC, but realize not everyone wants to keep it. I will continue to use the original name and will also incorporate the NEW name as well (whenever it is decided upon). I won't make the name an "issue" any further . . .just wanted to say my piece. I enjoy all the conversations everyone is having and want to participate as much as I can.

I am looking forward to meeting new friends when we sail

It's going to be a wonderful cruise . . . .no matter what it's called!

Okay so since the name topic was brought up I just want to give my 2 cents please don't get at me I don't want to cause any problems but here it goes

I like the name Bring Back The Magic BUT I am not against changing the name and I will embrace anything we as a group choose. The only thing I don't want to be called Parrothead, Parrothead 2 etc. My reason for that is I wasn't part of Parrothead 1 and I feel like that was your cruise (for those of you that went on it). I want a name we can call our own, thats not attached to another cruise.

Plus I want a name soon so I can start my fish extender gift Monica and I are trying to be creative with our gifts (since this is our first FE we are a little OVER EXCITED can you tell) but we need a name

Okay now you can all slam me if you want I can take it

I'm going to hit sumbit now, no one egg my house tonight or toilet paper my trees this is only my opinion

Angie no worries..I was NOT planning on keeping the name parrotheads since I do realize not everyone here was on that cruise. Notice my siggy no longer has it? it's been gone for a while now I want a new name as well to represent THIS cruise and also to represent EVERYONE here.
I say we need to settle this soon

Current prices for this sailing are $3407 or a quad window (cat 9) before adjustment for my OBRD and cabin credits with DCL and TA. Nice. Plus the cat 6 is $4267. I'm working my way through the details and chatting with the other members of my group today and again later tonite/tomorrow. Catching folks in Boston and Maui/Honolulu leave me with distant divergent time zones to juggle. THEN I'll be communicating with the other friends who expressed interest in following our travel plans. Work work work.... I went through THREE animations before I GAVE UP and found a FIXED image I liked that didn't bomb! That's RARE for me to start out with three attempts which bombed when they looked good to begin with in code?​

Tom, we certainly hope all you guys can come with us...the more the merrier!!! Especially if you are using the same TA as some of us. I am still selfishly hoping for that Palo brunch...

Hi Everyone!!!
Randy, you guys will have a great time. We do go over to WDW in the summer months, can't do without our Disney fix. What we do is hit the parks early in the morning, break for lunch somewhere, and go back to the hotel after lunch and spend time in the pool. Then back to the parks in the evening. You miss alot of the crowds that way. Hope you have a great time. Talk to ya'll later!!!

David.....I've heard that leaving the parks in the afternoon is what is best. But, this is our only WDW trip and if there is something to see or do in the afternoon then I'll be there. Thanks for the well wishes!

Thanks for all the welcomes. I don't get to be on the computer as often as I may like. Kids....oh well - got to love 'em! Speaking of kids - mine start school tomorrow Although I am a bit sad because no more sleeping in and going to bed late and of course now starts the dreaded HOMEWORK !
In an answer to Candy's question (I think it was Candy) yes my two youngest are twins (no, not identical) and very different! They are starting fifth grade this year. My son will be in 7th grade. Gone are the days of taking them out of school for a vacation. We have done that in the past, but last cruise when my son was in 6th grade (middle school) it was a PAIN to "jump through the hoops" to get all the homework assignments together for him to miss a week of school. We do have a fall break - just miss calculated when we scheduled the cruise - and we wanted to do an Eastern cruise. Although after missing St. Thomas we will probably do an Eastern sometime again
I do look forward to getting to know everyone prior to cruising...

Lyndee....Twins are always cool, identical or the same, they are still cool!!!! We also wnat to hit St Thomas sometime, since Omar had different ideas for us last year. Probably plan another Eastern, maybe Disney maybe not, in the future.

You have got to be kidding me! 44 Pages!Holy Cow! I leave for a week and this happens. I went to the old thread and not only is it closed, but I missed the voting. I have a lot of catching up to do today.

We had a very traumatic week last week. The floods that hit Louisville washed away our bridge and pretty much destroyed our road. I've fought with the insurance company, etc. but we can't get any help so it's up to us to fix it. I had to cancel our holiday WDW trip because we needed the money NOW. I'm leaving my ticker because I'm still hoping to rebook at the same time just for fewer days. Keep everything crossed that it works out. DH has the road and bridge fixed temporarily so we can get the 4WD truck up but he has been working like mad with a rented dozer trying to get it fixed for good and we are putting in a concrete low water crossing this time instead of a bridge that will(hopefully) hold up better.

Marna....Personally, I don't think you missed much last week, still trying to forget it as we speak....LOL

OMG...So sorry for the rain and flooding. I sure hope that you guys can still go to WDW. How much land do you guys have? I've always wanted a big spread out in the country. I go online often and check out land in other states, wishing I could live there instead of here in LA LA land.

Angie....No problem on the Parrothead thing. Those of us who were on the parrothead cruise wanted to keep in touch so we started another thread off of the old Parrothead thread and the accompanying logo evolved into the number 2, really for thread purposes only. Mostly because there were several people going on both cruises. There are still some who went on the old cruise and who have booked this cruise, who still have not posted on here. But, I'm sure they would be open to any name. Like you said, something we can call our own!!!! Eggs and TP, hmmm, don't know what you are talking about...LOL

Since I seem to have missed the debate, here is my opinion. I really liked "Bring Back the Magic". That said, when it gets down to the nitty gritty, I just want to go on the cruise so if ya'll want to call it "The Cruise That Shall Remain Nameless" I'll go along with you.I won't even pretend to be all craftsy and make anything with a name on it, so it really doesn't matter too much to our family.

It's too bad we couldn't redistribute the rain over here, we are in the middle of a drought, that would make things so much easier for all of us!
Hopefully the rain will stop for you all!!

We sure could use it.... we don't get much in the winter and we don't get the monsoon type rains in the summer either...UGH
