OCT 16 2010......7 Night Western....

My understanding is that for the first 3 nights, each of the dining rooms have a completely different menu and as you rotate, you will get each menu (although you could ask to order from one of the other dining rooms). Starting on day 4, the menu in all 3 dining rooms are the identical.
Will the experienced Disney cruisers correct me on this if I am wrong?:confused3

This would be very helpful news to know, if it's true!

I'm spending the day getting swimsuits, etc together to pack for our Dec 1 trip to the World. We'll be there 12/1-5, split stay Animal Kingdom Villas & All Star Music. This trip, it will be me, hubby, Meredith (3), and stepdaughter Emily (6). We took her brother Andy (15) in May and stayed at Saratoga. We figured slitting the little ones and the big kid up would be the easiest way to handle different ages and different attractions. Course, when we booked, we didn't know I was expecting, so now I will be almost 30 weeks when there. :P I requested a first floor room for all star music through my TA--hopefully that pans out.

Congratulations on the upcoming baby!!!

:lmao::rotfl: We are going to WDW Nov 29 -Dec 6...what a coincidence. We are staying at BLT. Our last trip to the world was in May...another coincidence. I've been getting clothes together for our trip. I bought packing cubes that I will try for the first time and I have 3 of them packed already. My MIL and 19 year old niece are coming with us this time.

That's funny! Guess we're on sync. ;) Just was at Target and they have a ton of stuff for fish extender gifts right now.

I have been doing quite a bit of research as we not only have to deal with a new baby on this cruise but DD, has severe food allergies. The link is a great source of info. Does anyone know where I can get info on how the chefs deal with certain allergies?
Here is a link from a DIS'er who has travelled with a small child and has several good ideas/suggestions. I love reading her posts . . .:goodvibes

I know my DIL is researching the same options for the baby (who will be 6 months at the time of sailing). She thought it was helpful too. :thumbsup2

I guess we are in Sync...that is so funny.

In 2006, we went on a Princess cruise when I was 24 weeks pregnant. I don't usually get sea sick but I was quizzy on that cruise, whether it was morning sickness or sea sickness or a little of each. :lmao:

I was pregnant in 2006, too. ;) Meredith turns 3 in November. :scared1:
Spooky, the similar stuff going on.

Minuette will be 3 on March 1. They grow up so quickly, don't they? It seems like I just had her.

She is so close to the 40 inch mark...she's 39.5 inches. She would love Splash Mountain and Thunder Mountain. Well, she will be tall enough by October. We are going to WDW for 5 nights prior to the cruise.

We haven't told her about going on the cruise but she has seen videos of the ship and talks about sailing with Mickey and swimming in the ocean.

We are getting excited about the upcoming trip. Are you going to MVMCP?:santa::santa: We are going on Dec 1. I am disappointed that they won't have Mickey's Twas the Night Before Christmas.:sad1:

With my MIL there, she offered to take Min a couple of times during the week for a few hours so that we could hit some of the rides that she isn't tall enough for.

DD will be 3 in February. it sounds as though there will be alot of almost 4 year olds in this sailing, good year!

We're doing the party on the 4th. Which restaurants are you eating at while there? We're doing Kona, Boma, 1900 Park Faire, Crystal Palace, and I'm blanking on the other one. :)

DS will be 4 next summer. Hoping the 3 and 4 year olds can get a little time to meet and have some fun together in OC.

For those of you going to MVMCP, have a great time. I'm so very envious of you guys. We won't be able to go this year.

For sure, we're going to have to do a get-together. :)

We have a dinner at Chef Mickey's the day we arrive and a breakfast at Chef Mickey's the morning after the Christmas party. Lunch at Rainforest Cafe in AK and Hoopdie Do Revue (sp?). In May we did Crystal Palace and Min loved it but we are skipping it this time. Chef Mickey's is convenient since we are staying at BLT. DH and I have a reservation for two at the Grand Floridian Cafe but I think I am going to cancel it...maybe we'll go to Top of the World lounge one evening instead or just walk around World Showcase.

How nice that there will be a number of kids around 3 years old. DD's only contact with kids is once a week at her gym class. She can go to dance class once she is potty trained. My MIL watches her during the day while DH and I work so she doesn't have daycare contact with kids. I don't know what she will think of the kids club...maybe we won't be able to drag her out. :) I hope she is potty trained by then.

Woo Hoo! :cool1: Another Friday!

In recognition of all the toddlers, here are some cute countdown graphics :cutie:

We have . . .

Hope everyone has fun plans for the weekend :woohoo:

Yeah, DD in not in daycare either. The one day a week I work she is with one or the other of grandmas. She hasn't ever had anyone non-grandparent babysit her either. It iwll definately be interesting to see how she does in the KC. She will definately be potty trained since she already pretty much is ( except at night). I am hoping she just loves the club and wants to be in there. It will be nice to have somewhere fun for her to be without a fight. IF not she iwll just do pretty much everything with us. ( anywhere she is allowed)

Min hasn't had any other sitter other than Grandma. We're kind of nervous about leaving her at the kids club on the ship...we will probably check on her every half hour or hour. :lmao:

I hope she likes it enough to spend a couple of hours there each day. I know they have hours where the family can go in the clubs and spend time together but can I parent go in and play with their child during the non-family hours?

Will Studio Sea have something that we can enjoy together with a 3 year old?

Deb: can you please post the link to that other thread you sent me? the one with the info on doing the cruise with a kiddo.

I am taking that info and thinking that there are places in all the kids' clubs you can go with them. At least that is what I am hoping since we are not super into a couple of the ports.
We will aslo haev the new baby and my biggest concern is leaving "it" with anyone I don't know or having the kids have to be seperated. Especially since DD has SEVERE food allergies I get relaly nervoud leaving her anywhere.
Glad ot know I am not the only one worrying about this. :rotfl:
