Hello everyone!

We just booked today.

It will be me (Denine), DH (Jerry) and DD (Kaleigh)
DD will be ***gulp*** 8 at the time of the cruise and we will be celebrating 19 years of marriage.

This will be DCl cruise #11 for us. We couldn't take one this year, darned economy.
Welcome!

Okay...
Looking back in previous post, trying to see what i have lacked on putting on the first page...

I came across the post from NENNER that had the pictures of the SVR and SPH rooms

I dont know if i totally understood what the SPH rooms were, or if i did understand at one time i forgot.

Are the SPHRs a verandah with a wall, just to complete the "look" of the ship.

How many people do they sleep?
Are they much less than the SVRs?
SPH rooms have a porthole that is blocked by either a lifeboat or a tank. They do let in some natural light into the room and they have the bay window which makes the room seem a little bigger. No Verandah. Since there is not much of a view these rooms are classified as a cat 10 instead of an 8. So the savings would be whatever the difference is between a cat 10 and a cat 7 which the secret verandahs are. They usually sell out pretty quick and I believe some sleep 3 and some 4.

When i look at the picture you have posted it somuch looks like the porthole rooms by the SVR have a verandah and i thought maybe wishful thinking...i dunno:confused3

Dizzy, I think the room you are thinking about is the Navigators Veranda. That is the room with the veranda and porthole. I hope this helps.

Hello all!!
I just wanted to check oin and say hi!!! It's been very busy around here!!
I hope all is well with everyone!!

Welcome Denine!!!!!!
I remember you from our cruise!!! Happy to have you join us!!!

I think on the first page, I had put the post #, were someone said how to make FE's

i will gotothe first post and look.

I wish i knew how to do links in the first post if someone knows please do share so i can link us to different post people have made.

What you do is just click on the post number in the top right hand corner, it will take you to that post only, then copy and paste it on the first post. I hope that helps.

Hey everybody...hope you are all well!

Welcome to our new cruisers, we are glad to have you onboard! :goodvibes

We sre still without a truly functional computer, I have managed to finally get one of them in for service (it has a chronic problem with the power cord connection- getting it backed up prior to taking it in was like murder...the cord would not stay in the port without pounds of pressure on it, in the end we had to angle it with the cord pressed on the floor, Ron held it with his foot while I lay on the floor backing it up...FUN:rolleyes:) Our other laptop has a busted LCD, and I have that one hooked up to an external monitor thta is off to the left so if we spend too much time on it, we get a crick in our necks! :lmao:

We are another week closer! :) Yay!

No, it isnt helping me....
I go to the # of the post and i get to the other post
Then i copy

But when i go to the first post and try to paste it showsd as me having nothing to paste

Just wanted to check in before I have to go back to work to say hi. ............
HI!!!!:thumbsup2
Also, I wanted to mention to all that a friend of mine and his family just got back from their 3 day Disney cruise a couple of weeks ago.:woohoo: He just mentioned to me that after checking in at the terminal and receiving their KTTW cards everyone in their group had to get their pictures taken. This is tied in to your KTTW card so that when you get on and off the ship and a cast member swipes your card your photo comes up. This way no one else can use your card. I didn't know if anyone had heard this little bit of info. It was new to me, but it makes sense.
Well, that's all of the information I have for now. Must get back to work. Hope all have a GREAT DAY!!!:cool1::thumbsup2

I understand,
I have problems with my space bar and it is driving mecrazy.

I have to hit it extra hard to make aspace.

Thanks for the welcomes. I didn't realize this was Parrothead cruise #2. Yes, we were on #1 last year.

Looking forward to a little Magic!

Hey everyone and welcome to Denine!
We survived the Buffet concert over the weekend although still a bit tired. Didn't get home until 2:00 am Sunday morning and didn't get to rest up yesterday.
The tailgating was great as usual but they packed them in so tight it was hard to walk around and check out how people have decorated. Had a torrential rain storm that left everything muddy - now that was fun - NOT!
Now I'm catching up on the posts from over the weekend.
Trying to convince my parents to join us on the cruise (they also are Parrotheads and Disney fans) but so far no go. I'm going to keep trying though.
Well have a great week everyone. How many more days until the cruise??? LOL
Renee'

Hmmm maybe we'll have to check out his show in Tampa at some point - and since we're just so close to Disney, well it would be a shame to go that far and not go, right? LOL
We had actually gone to Great Woods one year and just went for the tailgating. LOL

We were sitting 2 or three rows above the 3 base dugout. That was pretty good.

You're right Great Woods tailgating for Buffett is outstanding.:cool1: But I'll tell you what, ever since we got our own amphitheatre here in Tampa our tailgate parties give any other city a run for their money.:goodvibes I don't think half of the people even go into the show. They are just there for the party.

WELCOME, WELCOME, WELCOME, #1 was GREAT....Here's hoping that #2 is even better!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Glad you guys had a great time! :) I have to say the mud makes the show!
We were in VA for a show one time...we were out on the lawn in the front row and it was just a huge mud pit. The best part was that the lawn took a sharp drop off up to the pavilion below and the only thing between us and the mudslide was one of those plastic net temporary fences! Somehow neither Ron nor I managed to take the plunge although we were some of the few who didn't! LOL, that was Banana Wind Tour- I still remember the little stage on a lift that Jimmy and Fingers came out to the lawn to sing on and me sticking my muddy feet under the fence and shaking them during "My head hurts, my feet stink..." Ahhh...memories! :goodvibes

I sure hope the Mansfield Stop & Shop wasn't out of limes for ya this weekend. I remember they were when we were there and there was about 400 parrotheads trolling the asiles all ticked off! :rotfl2:

You are totally invited to join us if you decide to! :goodvibes I don't know when our next show may be (Ron may venture a guess, he's usually pretty good at figuring out when it may be) It may bve a while since he comes back since he said he would be in Orlando in the fall. (Orlando shows aren't NEARLY as much fun...tailgates and the venue aren't great at all) The amphitheatre is only about 45 minutes (or less) from Disney right on I-4, it is totally an easy trip over! :thumbsup2

Since we're discussing it, here's a pic of our setup one year...we don't have a huge tiki bar so we made do as best we could...lol....

We now return ya'll to your regularly scheduled cruise talk..;)

:worship: How come I don't remember any of that?:rolleyes1

Well nothing beat last years show - we had a tropical storm move through right while Jimmy was playing - the people in the lawn seats (uncovered) were absolutely drenched and playing in the mud. They looked as though they were having a better time then the people who were under cover! LOL

Thank you for the invite for the Tampa show - if we do get to go at some point I will let you know!! :woohoo:

Nice set up! :thumbsup2
We took a bus up with our club and had a few tents and tables for snacks etc. - no pics though.

Glad you guys had a great time! :) I have to say the mud makes the show!
