DD - Makenzie (10yrs now will be 11yrs. at cruise time)
DS - Garry a.k.a. G Dog (8yrs now 9 at cruise time)

we are in cabins 7505 and 7507 and have late dinner seating.
How are you???
Just back from a quick trip to the beach.
All we took was our towels and our noodles.
Which led us to wonder, if we can take our own noodles on the ship for at Castaway Cay.
Or does any one know if they sell or rent them on the island.
(2 DCL Cruises and have not madeit to CC yet.....)
Hello all!!!

Hey Dizzi, I'm making the type bigger so you will be able to read my reply!!!Just kidding Dizzi..................couldn't resist.
We've been to Castaway Cay twice and I haven't seen any noodles. They are nice to use.
Hey Dizzi, you were talking about in your last post going out in the water a little farther with your husband and see the fish swimming around. Our granddaugher and I went out in the water on Castaway Cay the last time we were there, and I was in water only up to my waist. Emily can't swim, well she does her version of swimming..............she is pretty good though if I do say so myself, so we didn't go out to far. Anywho, as I said, I was standing in water only up to my waist and I could see fish that appeared to be roughly 8" to 12" long swimming between my legs. They kept swimming against Emily's legs and she said it tickled. We were at the family beach area. So, I think you will have a great time on Castaway Cay when we get there.
Well, I can see by the ol' clock on the wall it is time I start to work. Hope ya'll have a great day.![]()
Sorry I've been AWOL a while.Just been busy with summer stuff and planning our WDW trip. I try to spread my obsessive trip planning around, you know?
I am over-the-top excited about seeing WDW during the holidays!
As for the planning for the cruise, I have been thinking about what we will do beforehand. I found out the kids will most likely have a fall break of two days during that time, so I may use that excuse on DH to try to do something beforehand. Of course, finances will dictate what we really decide to do, but here is what I would like:
Tues. & Wed. night-on site at one of the Universal hotels and go to IoA at least to see the new Harry Potter land. Then maybe Thursday night at AKL because I have always wanted to stay there. I wouldn't want to go to any of the parks-just tour the lodge, enjoy the pool, etc. Then Friday head to PC and spend the night there. That plan would have us changing rooms 3 times before we even get on the ship though. Plus, I would really like to attend MNSSHP as well since we will be missing it this year so not sure how it will play out. Luckily, I DO have plenty time to think about it.![]()

Hello everyone!
We just booked this cruise as our "free" incentive for adding points as Disney Vacation Club members.
Our family includes me (Dave), my wife (Lisa), my DD Allison (5 years now, 6 on the cruise), and my DS Jacob (1 year now, 2 on the cruise).
Julie, I am sure Brooke and Allison will cross paths in the kids camp!
The cruise seems so far away, but we are looking forward it!
