OCT 16 2010......7 Night Western.... "BRING BACK THE MAGIC"!

Had to take a late lunch today. The ol' bossman had me working my po' fingers to the bone this morning. Oh well enough of him!!!

Got on the Disney Cruise Line website the other evening checking out the excursions at each port. I know.........I know it's a little eary to be thinking about that, but I'm as excited as a kid in a candy store to be going on this cruise!!!!:So many decisions to make for each port. DW isn't much of a swimmer, neither is DGD but we enjoy exploring the islands. Getting a history lesson of the island. We have DGD write a report about the island so she can share with the kids in her class at school. Plus DW and I learn new things too. The last cruise we took, all three of us rode bicycles around the island. Now mind you DW and I haven't been on a bicycle in.........................I don't remember how long. (I don't think I had all this gray hair on my head). Now also, DW and I consider ourselves young for our age. DW is......................................I can't say it.............. no I can't say it...................she'll kill me....................anyways, I'm 61 going on 12. No really...............just ask DW Well, to make a long story short here we had a great time. We're hoping Disney will put in more bike trails to ride on. We had the best time.
Well. I see by the ol' clock on the wall, it's time to get back to work. Hope everyone has a great day. Keep thinking those Disney thoughts and having those Disney dreams.

Wow, midweek already? Almost time for another Friday countdown!

The last cruise we took, all three of us rode bicycles around the island. Now mind you DW and I haven't been on a bicycle in.........................I don't remember how long. (I don't think I had all this gray hair on my head). Now also, DW and I consider ourselves young for our age. DW is......................................I can't say it.............. no I can't say it...................she'll kill me....................anyways, I'm 61 going on 12. No really...............just ask DW Well, to make a long story short here we had a great time. We're hoping Disney will put in more bike trails to ride on. We had the best time.

We rode bikes on Castaway Cay during our last cruise, too. We probably would have never done it had it not been a "double dip". I'm so glad we did though. You know I probably would have never found out about the observation tower had we not rode the bikes on the trail. This time around Sarah will be big enough to ride on the bike with me. That should be a thrill for her.

Come on guys, I just joined here little while ago. I promise to do better!!!
Does anyone know if there are hiking trails on Castaway Cay? I thought I read that somewhere, but for the life of me I don't remember seeing any the two times we have been there.
Well, gots to get working. Hope all has a good Friday. We're planning to go over to WDW this October. We like it there then. The temps are great and the crowds are smaller. Talk to ya'll again soon. Keep thinking those Disney thoughts and dreaming those Disney dreams.

I have been over on the DVC boards trying to rent or transfer points for our October family gathering....of sorts and it is almost like or maybe even worse than the lottery or gambling.......
Cant seem to find just what i want.

This morning as i was leaving from dropping my DD off to school, i spotted to out door chairs out byt the trash at one fo the houses.

IT bulk day pick up in our neighbor hood we have it once a month.

so i dropped her off and went and picked them up.

Got them home and noticed a label on the back of them...

ilooked them up they are about $200 chairs ....OMG!!!

and i got them for FREE!!!!!!!!!!

Now i just wish i had picked up the table that was there that matched...even though i didnt because one fo the pieces of wood was missing ont he top....
DARN it could have been fixed!!!

It was about a $100 table..

I looked them up on the net.

I went back and the table was still there!!!!!!!!!

I thought for sure soemone else would have gotten it or.......
I kept hearing the trash crusher that they would have gotten to it by now!!

I am sooooooo freaking happy.........

I got a $600 set old and used of course but i can bring it back to life....

FOR FREE!!!!

Thats almost as good as getting an upgrade!!!!!!!!!!!!

Glad I'm not the only dumpster diver around! It drives my DH crazy when I pick up stuff off the street until he sees what cool things I've scored. And Smith & Hawken is definitely "cool" stuff.
