She is very very very sick. Her school made the local news tonight because over a third of the students and ten of the teachers were absent today with this stomach virus. She ate one bowl of chicken noodle soup and about a half a pack of crackers today. She is drinking plenty though, so I am not trying to push food on her. We will be home again tomorrow for sure.

ooh . . doesn't sound good, so sorry for your DD. "get well" wishes to her too.

I'm so jealous of all of you with the outsides of your homes all decorated. I never get to decorate outside, or at least not any more than hanging a wreath on the door and a big bow on the mailbox. For those who don't know, I am divorced. My ex-hubby and I get along great and he does a lot to help me out with things, but he drew a line on climbing on the roof to hang lights. The very first year that I asked him, he told me no. He said that he absolutely hating doing that, but did it for me while we were married to keep himself off the couch and now he sleeps alone whether I have lights or not so I can forget it.

I bought lights to wrap around the deck railing and call it good. The kids (well one of them) decorate the tree & house now so I have to do too much anymore.

Thanks to everyone for the "well wishes" for Merkie. Michelle said earlier that it was taking some people up to 5 days to get over it where they live. I am praying that it doesn't take Merkie that long. She missed four days for our cruise in Oct and has five days now for sickness already. I'm sure is some of you remember, but Merkie and I both missed three days right after getting back from the cruise because we both had that really bad sore throat. She doesn't need to miss any more school.
