Broken ribs, bruised hip, ER visit. . . .it wasn't pretty. At least I was there to pick up the pieces

I had to put the (real) tree up MYSELF that year . . .it fell over THREE times . . .had to tie it to the wall with fishing line!!! Went and bought a nice Martha Stewart tree at kmart after that ordeal . . .its been with us ever since!!!

No. I will call the number that I have for her tomorrow. I will be stuck her all day with Merkie again because she is still sick and I managed to do everything that needs to be done around here today. I will have plenty of time.

We put up lights the first yer we moved here. I never put them back up but the clips are still there just waiting.

I bought lights to wrap around the deck railing and call it good. The kids (well one of them) decorate the tree & house now so I have to do too much anymore.

Hi Gail. How's Merkie doing now?

She is very very very sick. Her school made the local news tonight because over a third of the students and ten of the teachers were absent today with this stomach virus. She ate one bowl of chicken noodle soup and about a half a pack of crackers today. She is drinking plenty though, so I am not trying to push food on her. We will be home again tomorrow for sure.

oh how sad about all those kids being sick!!! I'm glad that Merkie is eating a little at least!!!
