The market in Fort Lauderdale is SLOW but YES if you have it the DEALS are SWEET.

We are still a bit afraid to purchase as the taxes here are rediculous.
Ans we dont know if we will live here after the kids are out of Hgh school

But i did see a house i keep driving by that i want so badly and it is only
$159,000 i thought in this area and this market and in the right school district that it would be perfect.

I almost have Dh convinced to at least go have a peak at it inside.

We've dabbled with modest real estate holdings over the past 2+ decades. Naturally we find the prevailing conditions to be very tempting. It's so unusual to have this combination of conditions. However, I would say you should choose your region of interest carefully.

At any rate, I have to go help set the table now... our turkey dinner is ready to serve now! And K... I'll get to digging up some bunk bed pictures later on .. Ok!?

The castle looked awesome last week. I dont recall seeing it like that before.

We just bought our camera this year before my Oldest DS graduated from college as i was tired of going to events for my kids and not geting good pictures.

My DD wedding i missed out on too many pictures and was not going to miss my sons graduation.

I think it means buy low and sell high! And prices have been HIGH by some standards... while I'vealso seen some "authorities" cite how recentg values were NOT all that high after all. I tend to think the times are "good" to buy something modest since it's so RARE that we can buy in California and almost break even with rents covering the carrying costs ... even with the standard 25% down for stright up investor purchases.

Anyways ... what does it all matter anyways? I went to Alhambra High then CSULA ... so I too enjoy less than "ivory tower" academic credentials.

Nice follow up with the castle reflection shot. You must have had a wonderful time. Our kids have yet to make it up that late since we went in the summer time. By that time they are beat and want to hit the pool at the beach club.
We have learned from the first cruise to keep our camera on us at all times. You never know when a good shot will come.
We went on a Western cruise last May so if you are interested in any location pictures or questions, please let me know.

It wasnt exactly like i wanted it almost like ti needs turned upside down as the reflection almost looks better then than the real castle....must have been something with the flash or the focus??? Not sure which.


Oh cool and thanks for the offer, when i get that far into sending my mom pictures i will let you know. I would like to have some of where we would be going.

Right now i am still in the terminal pictures....since we do have so long until we cruise i am making it a long journey through the different areas of the cruise.

So far she hasnt said any thing much excpet she doesnt really think she will be going btu she likes the pictures i so hope she changes her mind.....If not for her, i think my dad would go in a heart beat andlove it if she would just say the word!!!
