Amy, You go to school? Me too. I only take one class per semester though, it's all I can do with working full time and homeschooling Alie. I have finals right before our cruise too.

Jenn, Yes we did decide to meet at 3 pm by the Mickey pool. How many out there plan on meeting with us?

I checked the mail three times yesterday and when it finally came no docs I am not even sure if I will get them. We told DCL to send mine here and Susan's to her but so far she has been the only one to receive correspondence.

Welcome home Jules. Glad you had a good time.

Pirate Alie and I watched Pirates in the Carribean last night. We got her costume together so she spent the evening as a pirate.

Hi everyone we are back!!!

Glad to find us still on PAGE ONE.......

Will fill in more info later, we are exhausted, Had a FANTASTIC weekend, with lots and lots of shopping, eating, drinking, dancing and gaming!
The hotel was in the docklands (Canary Whaft.... which is the closest thing to New York we have)
Sue I looked for a pressed penny machin for you everywhere, but it muxt be an American thing, as no one had one, not even Harrods department store, which seems to have EVERYTHING!
I went to the Hard Rock cafe for Brenda, a lady on my next Oct cruise, who collects pins, and I got her 4 pins, which she i thrilled about . We then joined the casino there and went for a few drinks and games, till 3am. We were eating in the casinol looking over Leicester square ( UKs version of Time Squre!) at 2am !!! You can tell we dont get out much !! This was a real "blow out for us , and GREAT fun!

I took some photos which I will try and get on over the week.
I have a hectic week ahead. I ebayed 40 odd items that will now need posting this week, Elouise is at school from 8.45 every morning, so its up at 7am out the house by 8.15 to walk to school! Then I have a tricky situation on Wed, when ive been asked to represent a person at another store, who was sacked for theft. I long and legal story, which I cant type, but basically she got sacked for theft, police called, arrested etc, time in cell, solicitor etc called, released on bail etc. Now the Company dismmised her, but then after police didnt have enough evidence to prosecute, she is appealing about her job. I dont know if she did or didnt, but im stuck cos, I dont want to see a good person sacked, if innocent, however if I do go to the appeal on Wed, I will be sitting against the most senior Human resouces person in the company and my bossess bosses boss, the Regional Manager. i would like to think they are professional enought to understand, im there to ensure "fair play" and im not siding with anyone. But im not tooooo sure they are. Im use to be the side of the table they are, not the other. However I do feel she was treated unfairly, and if the police cant fine anything, then perhaps there is a bit of a "cover up" going on, with an over keen auditor who made the original claims????? and now they need a scape goat??? But how will this affect me and my career?

Sorry to be waffling, hey 3 weeks timme I would have had a day in MK, so things are good

I am glad to hear that Pirate Alie is getting into the spirit of things ...
Sounds like you had a great time Linda - good fun, and a real let off steam, cant wait to see the piccies, sounds like the end of this week is not going to be a good time for you, I am sure that everything will be ok, after all you can only tell them what you know and believe to be the truth - big hugs to you.
I have been to the doctors this morning as I have been having lots of trouble with my right arm, I am typing left handed at the moment ... Yesterday I could hardly move it - they think that it is tennis elbow, inflamation of the tendons etc - I have to rest it and then go back on friday to have a steroid injection, which they have warned me will most likely make it worse before it gets better - I dont care as long as it is right for the holiday. Ian is a bit cross with me cos I am still at work, he thinks I should be at home resting it !!

We had a great day of shopping on Saturday...well it was probably greater to me than Jacob hahaha. He let me get a free makeup done at Bobbi Brown in one of the department stores at the mall...he didn't realize it would take so long though hahaha. Poor guy. We spent a fortune the whole day though it seems. We both love Halloween and they had the coolest stuff on sale all over, but especially at Target. I also got some pirate boots to wear with my costume and take up luggage space haha. And we're such dorks we made a pirate bear named Captain Jack @ the Build-a-Bear Workshop. We still haven't dressed him up yet but when we do I'll post a picture.

Mdavison: Kelly, I can't believe your wedding is so soon, you must be getting nervous. Are you doing the Land & Sea trip or just the cruise?

I am getting really nervous!! Not about being married, just about the big day. I'm soo not used to being the center of attention and the whole walking down the aisle...saying vows...while everyone is watching freaks me out. And we don't have wedding coordinator or anything so I'm nervous things won't go the way they should and it will all be on my shoulders.

And yes we're also visiting Disney World before the cruise for 4 days

Jenn, I am probably not the best person to answer you here since it has been awhile since I began using this site and I am not the most technical one here but....

Just tell your friend to go to the web site www.disboards.com when she tryes to log in she will be asked to create an account. She will fill in the info to create a user name and password. Once she has that she can click on the cruise meets thread and find our thread (Oct. 15, 2006 (4 nights on the "New" Wonder)) If we are doing our job it should be on page one.

Jules, sorry to hear about your arm! I had a similar thing with my shoulder several years ago and it was hard to get anything done. I never did find out how I hurt it in the first place.

Jules, I work for several orthopedic surgeons. Tennis elbow is no fun. Take some Aleve and if the shot doesn't help, ultrasound works great. You may also want to inquire about a tennis elbow band, we use them a lot here at our office. I think some fun in the sun will do the trick

Hi Everybody!

Jules, I had surgery for Tennis Elbow last Nov. It was painful and miserable!!
Do everything you can to avoid it. I had 3 cortisone shot/occupational therapy rounds before I had the surgery.
Hope yours doesn't get to that point. I still don't know what I did to it either.

I haven't seen my tickets yet!! I'm jealous

Jennifer, we are 2nd dining, and we will probably put Elouise in the kid club while we dine. I think the meal will be too long for her, but I do KNOW she will want to say "hi" to our table each night. Especailly on pirate night!!! shes excited about this My mum has made her a Wednt Darling dress for, the Tea with Wendy darling. She very excited about this too. Just hope we can fit it all in !

Kelly I love the make over things at the counters, I had mine done in harrods on Saturday. It was such fun, and I looked amazing, but when I try to do it, I never look as good!
