I am the opposite to you, I dont switch the ac on in my little mini, I open the windows instead Ian thinks I am mad, he always goes on at me to switch the ac on, cos its the first car I have had with ac I forget about it and just open the windows !

I bet it is hot with you today Jane, I wonder where is hotter today UK or Florida, that its probably the first time I have ever been able to ask that question ....

It is funny, when Linda posted before about the heat Alie said "35 degrees is Hot?" In the US we use Ferinheit not Celcius so 35 is just 3 degrees above freezing. But on to answer your question. It is 80 degrees here right now. That is about 26.6 to you two but temps in the upper 90's (36-37) are not uncommon in the summer. Susan told me yesterday that it was almost 100 in Kansas yesterday that would be almost 38C. I have also been wondering about the time differences as linda and Jules are posting so early in the AM I am posting this at 10:17 easten standard time it must be late afternoon in the UK?

From what I see on the news nearly all of the US has been in a heat wave for the past few days. It was in the 90s for us in Wisconsin and wicked humid, yuck. We're supposed to get some bad storms out of it tonight.

We are meant to get storms tomorrow, you must be fed up of hearing UK people moaning about the heat we are so not used to it, and one of our favourite topics is the weather. You can guarantee if you strike up conversation with a stranger over here it is always the weather that is mentioned first !

Well everyone I went, it was fab like last time, the job is mine if I want it They are lovely people but very vague about money, I always get very embaressed about discussing it but obviously cant afford to go there for less than I earn now. They were like go home and discuss with hubby and then let us know what you want to do, we would love you to join us, money is fine, dont worry it, but they wouldnt actually say a figure. Anyway I have spoken to Jason tonight and told him that this is my dream and really want to accept but need to know terms and conditions etc, hopefully I will get more info tomrrow, still very excited though

Just wanted to say a quick hello to everyone...I havent posted in awhile and I hope everyone is doing well and surviving the warm weather...Cant believe the cruise is in three short months...The excitement is building here...I saw Tinknanny, I guess she hasnt made her way here yet...I actually posted if her pre teen might want to pen pal with my daughter who will turn 14 while we are vacationing in Florida...Anyone else with a young daughter who might want to pen pal with her would be appreciated... I am sure her trip would be more enjoyable if she had a new friend to look forward to spending time with in the teen club...Again I hope everyone is doing well and I hope to post more often Jennifer

I had a sort of promotion myself today thats why I wasn't able to post my pictures sooner than now. It's really just more responsibilities for me though as I don't think I'm getting a pay raise but I'm still very happy about it.

Anyway, here they are....the invitations! I got a little camera happy can ya tell LOL. I'm not completely done with all of them yet but getting really close and then just need to address them all! The white paper on the invite and reception/map card has a pretty shimmer to it, a couple pictures might show this, the RSVP card is just plain white cardstock.

I love the invitiations so much, they are beautiful, you must be so pleased with them, you are very creative. When will you be sending them to your guests, in the UK I think most people send them about twelve weeks before, is that the same with you ? Anyway you can be very proud of them, they are so so unique. I will have to show them to Ian this evening, he will be very impressed at your creativity, I have no creative bones in my body I cant wait to see some wedding piccies

Kelly congrats on your " more responsisbilites"
and WOW your invites are stunning.... perhaps you should do this kind of thing as a living!!!! they are very very beautiful.

Jules..... I think I would always have a list of questions regarding salary, bonus, pensions etc to go through with them, BEFORE accepting. Often the headline salary can be mis leading, if there is or isnt other stuff included. Pensions, save as you earns and sick pay IMHO are all very important in a package. Make sure they put the offerr in writitng too, before you hand in notice where you are now. Sorry, Just cos I do employment law in my job, I get on my soap box !

Well I sold 3 of Elouises Princess dresses yesterday on E Bay, so we need to pop down to the Disney store this weekend, to get the next sizes up !

Thanks for the advice Linda, I do really appreciate it. Ian gets a bit cross with me, not angry junst concerned for me. He knows I really want this job but he just doesn't understand why I am not more assertive regarding salary requirements etc. He is quite right in what he says, we don't go to work for the fun of it, we all need to make a living and I need to stand up more for myself, I just get really embarassed by it all

A moon pie is a cake/cookie sweet thing. They have been around a very long time in the U.S. but I have never actually had one!

Linda, I do like your door decorations. I am glad I'm not the only one working on that! Sad that people would take decorations off of someones door. I am sure that most Disney cruisers would not do that.

I am going to make my final payment for the cruise when I get home tonight! I will be glad to have that done!
