I'm sure I've read this somewhere, but didn't make note of it...and was hoping some of you
DCL cruise veterens could tell me what I need to know about dinners? 7 night cruise: how many formal nights? are all other nights semi-dressy? (no shorts etc). Do men have to wear button up shirts? When will pirate night be? I guess technically on pirate night you can wear shorts and put a bandana on your head and call it pirate wear? Can you tell me already which nights are formal/pirate/other already?
Thanks for all your help. My dad is going and he is putting his foot down on wearing a suit. Been retired for 10 years and has no intention of ever wearing a suit by choice again. =) And...along the same lines..if formal night falls on the night you are supposed to eat at Animator's Palate (or any restaurant I guess) and you don't want to dress formally, you just miss dining in that restaurant? (miss the experience?) And we won't know our dining rotation until we board...right? We have a total party of 18...how many tables will they have to split us up into? Sorry for so many questions...DCL dining seems a WHOLE lot different than any other cruise ship dining I've been on.
