Oct 13, 2012 Fantasy who's going

Hi there, I just wanted to say that this is a great spread sheet and I think it's so great of you to keep us all organized. I was doing a comparison and noticed that Big Ole Disney Fan on the second list has a son listed as 7. One the first post Brenden is listed as 17 celebrating his 18th. Just wanted you to know. Teens are funny about this.:lmao:
Thank you - will fix immediately - we want to keep our teens happy - (been there :))

Ditto to the above, I'll like to see if it is too late to order 2 bracelets too.
I'm in Hong Kong and don't have an active paypal account, would it be possible for me to pay you back in person? Cheers! :hmghost:

Is anyone staying at a hotel the night before the cruise? Where are you staying? We are actually taking the Auto train down from Virginia and getting in early Friday. We plan on chilling for the day at the hotel so we want a nice one that hopefully has the transfers to the pier.
Hi there, we're staying 4 nights at the Port Orleans FQ. This is a new resort for us and we're excited to stay there. We did the Auto Train a couple of years ago. We had a family bedroom for three adults. We hit a truck in Jacksonville on the way home. No injuries but it was interesting to say the least.:lmao:

I absolutely LOVE that resort. That's where we were going to stay after the cruise but there is no Cast Member discount that I'm lucky enough to get because of my daughter. While not cruising with us, she is joining us for a couple of days after the cruise.

On Cocoa Beach just down from Port Canaveral there are several. SOme people have said that the Country Inn and Suites is nice, and there is a shuttle service for no charge. We are driving down Thursday and Friday and staying at the Hampton Inn in Cocoa Beach. Its just off the beach, with a private trail from the hotel right out to the beach. They also have a shuttle service to the port in the morning.

We'll be arriving in Port Canaveral on Thursday and will be staying at the Country Inn and Suites. We will be coming in after a looooong drive so are looking forward to some R&R!

Going to WDW for 3 nights, then USF for 3 nights before the cruise!
Besides T-Rex cafe that we wish to visit in day 1 of Orlando, anyone know of any good Lobster/seafood place?

I read that The Boston Lobster Feast on International Drive is good for quantity but definitely not yummy.

Cheers:simba:

With regards to the fish extender-what happens if we upgrade our room at check in? How will anyone know were we are?

I'm 9103 and 9603. Those are adjoining rooms. The whole family will participate (5 of us) but we'll only have an FE hanging outside one of the rooms.

As a side note. My brother's family is interested in being in the FE. And it would be nice if they were in the same one as us (so when the kids compare gifts it is "fair") ...is it still possible? or no?
Thanks!

The reason I asked which room - there has been confusion as to the total number of rooms. Therefore, those that had two cabins listed and even they were like you adjoining, for the list we only put one cabin number up. I hope you don't mind if I use 9103 on the list.

Of course your brother's family can be on the FE. And, I will be happy to put them on the same list you are on. All you have to do is provide me with the info:
Stateroom:
DIS Name:
Names/Age(s): (at sailing) of everyone going with us

The Auto train has to be my favorite form of transportation to Florida!! I'm from Philly as well and used to take it back and forth when I was in grad school in Miami. We're also leaving the day before, but flying down. We're staying at the hotel inside the airport and I purchased the transfers from the airport to the pier. I don't know who's more excited, myself or my niece for this trip!!

Alright! We got our GTY cabin assignment, we're 7668, which isn't an upgrade, but, we're on the ship and it's what we booked!

So, Colorado Cruisers, shall we plan a BBQ for 8/25? We're doing Ryan's birthday party on the 18th, so the 25th works great for us and then Scott and Ryan are going to a Cubs game in Chicago over Labor day, so they'll be done the next weekend.

Hi, I am from outside Philly-Levittown-I thought about auto train many times but never did it. Is is comfy, and is it more expensive than flying?

To me it is, but the experience is so awesome. You should definitely try it once. I've always had a sleeper on the train and not sure of what it's like without one.
When are you guys coming down? There's another family on here from the Philly area as well. I would be great to meet one another.

Yay, hope the rest of the GTY's get their numbers soon. :cheer2: will adjust the first page posts 1 and 3 :thumbsup2

Hello all,

I was wondering if it is still possible to get the bands for me and my family?

2 Adults and 3 kids.

I think it would be a neat common thing.

Thanks

Doug

Yes, it is still possible to get cruise bands. I've got you down for 5. I will PM you on how to pay.

Not a problem, I have you down for 2 bands. Anyone out of the country can pay me when I deliver. :thumbsup2
