Oct 13, 2012 Fantasy who's going

Hi Everyone!
We are Rexie & Stitch (Melissa & Marty) and we'll also be on this cruise  At the time of the cruise we'll be 50 & 55 (Holy mackarel :scared1:) We'll be in cabin #10166, Late dining, celebrating our 9th anniversary on the 18th. We had this cabin & 10164 last week on the Dream. Wonderful ship & looking forward to sailing on her twin for a longer time! We will absoposilutely be doing the fish extender! We live just 38 miles east of WDW, have annual passes, and DVC owners since 1992, so yes, we go a LOT. Have been lurking for a little bit of time & now it's time to introduce ourselves.

Goodmorning Rexie and Stitch also known as Melissa & Marty and welcome aboard. Your info has been posted on the 1st page. :grouphug:

1st of all my curiosity has the best of me. How did you come up with your Disney names? :confused3 very interesting. You sound like a fun couple. :thumbsup2

When you say East of Disney - is that towards Davenport or Orlando. (depends on which way you stand outside the entrance to WDW:cool2:)

Lurking is good - I'm sure you arn't the only ones, some just like to read what's going on in the forums. :surfweb:

Talk to you later :flower3:

My family teases me about being 'height impared' and never being able to reach anything, just like Rex in Toy Story. And hubby's favorite character is Stitch.

We are in Brevard county

Now that's a cute story. Mine is not as exciting as yours.

I worked in a prison and on one tier there were quite a few inmates from the "Islands". One in particular was from Trinidad. The majority of I/M's called me Miss B. One I/M - Shabba - (his jail name) said their group was going to call me "Trini B". I didn't mind as long as they didn't use my first name. I thought that was cute and I decided to incorporate that in my Dis Forum Name. Thus, trinibjill.
:thumbsup2

I guess you could say I am a "Jill" of all trades. Not only did i work at a prison - I am a Military Veteran :) While in the military I was a mechanic - jeeps, trucks and tanks. Thank goodness 'cause my husband was hopeless when it came to working on our car. He loved to buy them so I figured I better learn how to fix them. He was a great cook, though, me - not so much.

I guess you see I have Mickey on a motorcycle :worship: . Well, I ride a mc. Good thing I was a mechanic because today I had to buy a battery.

I skate competitively. I wear the fancy outfits with all the sparklies and I do dance.

Anybody else have interesting things they have done or a bucket list of what you want to do ?:surfweb:

Have a magical day :wizard:

I'm with you on the not cooking thing! It can be dangerous. lol I only have a kitchen because it came with the house. My Daddy taught us girls to be savvie enough to not be taken at garages or home repairs. I can do some things mechanical & I have been to truck driving school (I wasn't a truck driver but this was in relation to a state job I once had) & can ride motorcycle. I was in a performance line dance team up until 2 1/2 years ago. I have a neck injury that keeps me from doing many of the things I used to enjoy. I don't even drive unless I have to. Plenty of meds & doctors appointments, not happy convo for the board though.

This was on facebook yesterday:thumbsup2

Last night guests aboard the Disney Magic were surprised with a special performance by famous entertainer Charo! She took a moment today to capture this endearing photo with her friends Goofy, Donald and Mickey!

I understand about the state jobs giving you challenging tasks. I was on active duty with the National Guard. I drove some of the smaller trucks 2 1/2 & 5 tons. They had me go get a tractor trailer and drive it to another armory and then to park it inside... The fascinating thing was I had never driven tractor trailer much less back it into a space inside a building. The usual statement was you won't be able to say that tomorrow :rotfl2:

So, I would say you had a diversified life also. Sorry to hear about the inury. I always dread that. I'm not looking forward to ever being incapacitated.

Last night there was a 2 hour special about Walt Disneys life. It was excellent. I cried - he was the greatest :worship:
