I was so nervous about the fridge being in storage for so long that I had to call unclecoach to make sure he got it.

He said it took awhile, but they did find it.



The schedule is pretty tight until Sept 9, there will just be 1 day it needs to be in storage, and then the rest of the year it seems like all hand offs.


Anyone planning on adding a coffee pot to it? I may go looking for a small 4 cupper to add to it.


I can mail it down there and leave it for someone?

Just a thought.

monymony if you PM your cell number I wil call you and let you know that I retrived the frig from the day of storage ! Since you will be there the same time as me at a different resort! I have no way to email when im there so I can call if youlike and let you know the frig is back on track!

I would love it if a coffee pot was included. If you want to ship it to me while I am there you can ...of course I am there starting Aug. 6 so we would need to act fast. I would be willing to chip in for the cost. Let me know your thoughts...

Thank you everyone for a great swap. I passed the fridge onto mellgonzales in person. The fridge is in great shape and I used some white duct tape to reinforce all the seams on the top of the box.
I did not add these, but there are also 2 spraymisters, 2 compact umbrellas, a bunch of ponchos, toaster and some other things too. I just don't remember exactly what, but thanks to all of those that added to the swap. I intended to leave a couple rolls of duct tape with the fridge, but alas, as I was unpacking this morning, I found them, sorry about that!

It says it has a permanent filter.

Ok, I purchased it and had it shipped to Jakenzie32.

So you will have a package waiting for you at check in, which is always fun!


I ordered it from Kmart. The cheap one I wanted was out of stock today, go figure, so I ordered the 12 cup mr. coffee.

With tax, and delivery it was $27.95. I hate asking for money, but since 2 of you offered that is nice. What ever you think is fair.

You will have to bring your own coffee grounds and what ever you like in your coffee.


Just one small request. Please Please Please, take special care of our coffee pot, it has to last until my December trip!!!!!


Open the box carefully cause it may be our only way to store it. I have no idea if it will fit inside the fridge.

yeah you are right- we are leaving Thanksgiving day 11/27 but we can do the handoff on 11/26 when they get there!

We'll be there from September 27th through October 4th if that helps at all. We weren't planning on taking a fridge (we actually have one, but it's hard to fit in the car with all the luggage we take)....but we can help with the handoff...etc if you don't find someone else to take it during October 1-4th.

Just let me know We've actually been signed up for a few swaps this way (just filling gaps) but someone always was found that really really needed it, so we've always given up our spot so we're still available!

You can certainly sign us up for those few days. We'll be leaving pretty early on the 4th though...will that be a problem? We usually leave around 8 or 9....so not really really early LOL

If someone else comes along that needs it for meds, baby formula...etc you can bump us We only use it to store waters and leftover desserts....etc, so it's really more of a luxury thing for us then a necessity. But I figured it would help it stay out of luggage storage if you had spaces filled
