Oct. 12, 2013 - WONDERful cruise from Galveston

I'm sure this is a long shot but I have to say that I at least tried. We were lucky enough to snag a cabana shortly after check in. Unfortunately, we are a party of 16 and the limit is 10 wristbands. I'm having a hard time telling those that wanted to go that they can't. I'm wondering if there is anyone else on here who wouldn't mind offsetting the cost of their cabana by allowing a few people to join on their reservation keeping in mind they would be at our cabana #5 if we can move a few chairs. Any takers? PM me if this might be something you would consider. Thanks so much!

I am so excited that we have one of the new Halloween cruises. We are decorating the cabins with spooky decorations instead of the usual tropical attire.

I'm also thinking that we might wear "Day of the Dead" make-up for one of the Mexican nights and hoping to catch a photo with Jack Skellington. With Jack and Sally onboard, will Jack Sparrow be taking a break for these Halloween cruises?

Approximately how many people are in each FE group? Just wondering if I would be making 25 items or 75 items? And do you typically distribute individual gifts AND a cabin gift? (obviously I'm VERY new to this!) Thanks!

Hello! We are sailing on this cruise and so excited to go. Our group is me (DW), DH, DD1 (5) and DD2 (almost 3). It'll be our first Disney Cruise. Only just now discovering this thread. I just read/skimmed all 34 pages, whew!

We won't be doing FE this time... not enough time to plan! But looking forward to seeing the ones that you all will be bringing. I'll send a FB request to be added to that page too.

We might be interested in the mixology class, depending on time. We are cruising with friends too, so I'll check with them.

I can't believe we're cruising in just over a month!!

Hi! My husband and I will be on this cruise as well. My 3rd (2nd time on the Wonder) and his 2nd cruise.

We've never sailed out of Galveston. Heck, this will only be the 2nd time I've been in Galveston and I've lived in Texas for over 30 years! we're planning to arrive Friday and hang out in Galveston for the day. Any recommendations for good places for dinner?

Would love some tips on things we should bring. Starting to feel overwhelmed that I'm going to forget something!!! also since we will be celebrating Halloween does that mean no pirates night?? A little confused? Thanks and hope to meet some fun families!

There will be a pirate night. It will night 4. Halloween may be night 3 or 5. The party in the past has been more low key.

Welcome - Able to answer a bit better now that I am on a computer and not a mobile device. As far as packing goes.. it really depends on your style.

I would suggest some sort of power strip. because on the Wonder there are just not that many plugs. The Wave Phone they provides does cover 2 of the spaces. So if you are charging Ipad, pods, camera batteries, etc.. then you might want to consider a power strip.

If you have hard to control hair and you are not wash and wear.. then I would suggest a travel hair dryer and use it in the room and not in the bathroom. The one they provide in the bathroom is not very powerful.

Sunscreen. I have seen so many people that don't realize how powerful the sun is at sea and in the Bahamas.

Hey guys, There is OGT and VGT available for our cruise!!! Came out yesterday!! My brother and niece got a VGT! They will not do the FE since its so late, my bro is just gonna hang one outside his room and my mom and I are going to put things in there
So our group is now

Gifts only for your group. The gift can be either way. I give a cabin gift and something individual to kids, but it's entirely your choice.
