Hubby and I are staying up till 11 PM (Texas Time) to put in our reservations for excursions and hopefully reserve Palo. So I need some advise from you repeat cruisers.
1. Will we need to pay for the excursions/Palo in advance or will they be added to our onboard bill? No you do not need to pay in advance, but you should cancel excurisions 3 days before the cruise if you change your mind. Palos can be changed on the ship.
2. What day is going to be best for Palo Supper. I don't want to miss the shows in the dinning rooms or do it on pirate night. Also we are doing a private food tour in Nassau so i expect we wont have large appetites on that day. So does that mean late in the cruise like Thursday? What do you guys recommend? this is hard. You could do Palos and not miss the shows That is what we general do
3. Any idea which night is formal or semi formal night? Night 2 is Formal and Night 6 is Semi Formal, both are sea nights
4. Spa? Other cruises I have been on have a special spa treatment each day and its normally at a discount, is it better to wait till the cruise to book a spa treatment? Generally only on port days, given that we don't know what we are doing, I generally don't book spa treatements online ahead of the cruise. Given that there have been times when it has sold out and we have not got a treatments
5. PAT recommendations.. We are staying at a hotel in Texas City so I guess we could rush to the ship in the morning but, we are more get there when we get there kinda people. I really think PAT are for the bigger ships, given that get there when you get there, but get there by at least 1 so you can enjoy the ship and lunch before the DIS meet
5. Ok so this question has nothing to do with making reservations tonight I was just wondering.... I know the ship has a gym but do they offer classes like Spin or Zumba. I Spin 3 times a week and do Zumba twice a week now, and I would like to continue that. I can always jump on an elliptical for 30 min for a little morning cardio / endorphin rush. Not sure.. but someone else might know
Can't wait for tonight (12 hours, 10 minutes and counting)
