Can you have more than the occupancy number in a unit, for example, 10 in a two bedroom unit that lists 8? If so, what about pool access - I thought I read something about wristbands at the more popular pools?

How far is the walk from BCV to Epcot? The Boardwalk?

Thanks!

The occupancy for a 2 bedroom is 8. You are permitted to have a child under 3 in a crib in addition to the 8. No additional bedding or any type of rollaway etc. is provided.

The walk from BCV to Epcot and the BW is less than 10 minutes.

They are taking SAB off the pool hopping list. I would suspect that they'll increase security at the pool. Whether that will mean wristbands, showing ID, etc. is anybody's guess.

The limit is 8 for a 2 BR but I have read of people (and we ARE NOT among them) that have gotten Disney's ok to have more than the occupancy limit in a DVC villa. I am not saying this is right, I am just repeating what I have read. Do you have any young children in the group of 10? Maybe if you have 2 small children under 3 you could have one child sleep in each bedroom with their parents. If you are staying at BCV you will have use of SAB since that is one of the pools for this resort. If Disney allows someone to have over the occupancy limit in a villa, I would assume this would also include the pool.

Just so you know ... there is a king sized bed in the master bedroom, a queen sized bed and a queen sized fold-out couch in the the 2nd bedroom and another queen sized fold out couch in the living room. There is also a porta-crib in one of the closets and you can wrangle another one. Unless you have a few young children, I think 10 people would be a very tight squeeze.

FWIW...

We toured the BCV models this past Sunday, and the guide that took us through said that the 2nd bedroom in the dedicated 2BR's would have two queen beds. A mixed configuration - like VWL.

I can only assume :) she knew what she was talking about...

I assumed the pull out in the second BR would be the double size like at BW.

We returned 5/8 from at trip to WDW. We stayed at AKL, but bought at BCV!!!:D We toured the models at BWV on Monday 5/6.

The 2BR units at BCV will be a 1BR with a studio attached. One king bed in master, one queen bed and double sofa bed in second bedroom and a queen size sofa bed in the living room. Or a dedicated 2BR with 2 queen beds in the second bedroom.

We walked by SAB, all the guests we saw using the pool had orange wristsbands on. Other reports on the resort boards have stated you need to show a room key (resort i.d.) to get a wrist band. Every time we have stayed at a WDW resort, they have been given a room key for everyone in our party.

I'm only guessing, but I would think you would need to be a registered guest to be able to get a wristband.

Thanks for all the replies! We do have young kids and wondered about sharing a room on occasion with another family with small kids. Not in favor of breaking the rules - its helpful to understand the policies.
