Here's our plan:

Tuesday 8th August - First night at MCO Hyatt , something to eat at the Airport lounge, Joshua off to sleep , a couple of drinks at the bar.

Wednesday 9th August - Breakfast, Joshua has a swim at the rooftop pool, collect car, shop for a few toileteries/groceries, check in at the Boardwalk, enjoy the rest of the day there.

Thursday 10th August - Magic Kingdom in the morning, EPCOT in the evening, rest and relaxation in between.

Friday 11th August - Character breakfast at Cape May, probably followed by Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach, rest of the day spent at the Boardwalk.

And that's it - the rest we will just play by ear, making the most of our BWV stay before the rest of our holiday at a villa.
3 weeks in total. Just the first couple of days planned.

We actually booked into the Airport hotel, we have stayed there before, because we did plan a tour of Fort Lauderdale and Miami etc the first few days and wanted a fresh start the following day.
However, we have changed our minds and have booked into BWV instead, actually quite looking forward to staying at the Hyatt, having a quiet drink at the bar on our first night. :)

We will visit MK a few times and Universal several times as Joshua loves both, the odd trip to MGM/EPCOT and a day at Sea World.

Probably go to Clearwater and St.Petes for a day at the beach, plenty of shopping and relaxing at the villa, Joshua loves playing in the pool and we also take 14 (yes 14) US format Blue's Clues videos/DVDs for him...for those afternoons when we want to relax or sit by the pool, love to soak up the Florida :sunny:

Johhny - new picture of Joshua - lovely :thumbsup2

Thanks, like your plan by the way, you have similar ideas to us in many ways, although ours are governed by Joshua! However, he does like playing in the pool so we find plenty of time to relax too :thumbsup2

Jodie

Like the look of the plans I've seen so far :thumbsup2 Well I am an OC planner too - after I've posted our summer trip details - I'll post the Christmas ones :yay:

Even though I have most of the trip planned both our children have autism so this can make even the best plans fly out the window as you often have to just go with the flow. Most of our dinner choices are buffets as we need to be able to walk into a restaurant and get their food almost immediately (they don't cope very well with waiting - although this is getting better as they get older) So we tend to spend a lot of time at Golden Corral or Sweet Tomatoes off site and I usually cook stuff when we are at OKW. This year though we have taken advantage of the dining plan as it is the last year DS will be classed as a child.

I am a bit worried about this because it is going to be hard to make sure we are all at a certain place at a certain time but we will give it out best shot........ so here goes

Thursday 27th Take the cats to cattery for their holiday then up to Dublin to stay overnight

Friday 28th Over to the airport at 6:30am for 9am flight - Get to our Sunset Lakes villa about 8:30pm

Monday 31st Shopping day (Florida Mall, Toys R Us, Circuit City) Dinner ??? possibly Subway back at the villa

Tuesday 1st MK - stay until we are tired then chill back at the villa Dinner??

Wednesday 2nd Typhoon Lagoon and Winter Summerland golf - Steak N Shake Dinner

Thursday 3rd Epcot - stay until we are tired then chill back at the villa - dinner from Publix

Friday 4th Free day - decide when we are there Probably shopping

Saturday 5th Universal IOA - dinner Sweet Tomatoes

Sunday 6th MGM - stay until we are tired - dinner Golden Corral

Monday 7th Disney Quest to meet a friend from another site - In the afternoon DD and DH going to see Pirates of the Caribbean 2 at AMC while DS & I see a different film or stay in DQ Dinner McDonalds DTD

Joshua has autism too - the above is exactly how it is for us at restaurants, although as my post earlier said we tend not to plan past for the first few days.

Just added our Character Breakfast to our 'plan', hey that means we have planned the first 3 full days, that's a first for us!

Hope Josh enjoys it, reckon it's 50/50 whether it will stress him out, let's hope it doesn't.
