It occured to me, while watching this movie this morning with my sick DD, that the same person who did the voice of Tigger, is doing the voice of one of the birds. Sorry, don't know his name.

Also, that the same person who did the voice of Piglet, is doing the voice of the porcupine.

Now that's okay, but what I really didn't like was that they both incorporated features of the Pooh characters' voices into these two different characters. For example, the bird laughs like Tigger - "hoo hoo hoo hooooo"......yanno? And the porcupine stutters like Piglet does.

Their voices are so recognizable. Just couldn't see why they would want to bring along Tigger and Piglet so much into this movie!

Hmm -- never noticed that --- BUT just wanted to tell you that I LOVE your photo in your sig.
:D

Yes, those voices are in quite a few movies. They are voice talents, yes, maybe recognized by some as Tigger/Pooh, but the Pooh voice was in so many things late 70's early 80's.

Disney Cartoons do this as well. The person who does Pete in the animated Goofy movies, is also a voice talent in another series, maybe Hercules, or Little Mermaid... I recognized that as well.

Its work, and I wonder if these individuals were just under contract for a specified timeframe, instead of specified pictures. Sort of like...that Pooh person had to do five pictures in five years, no matter what.. instead of specific pictures...like Pooh only.

And believe it or not, it was common practice in many other cartoons/animated features as well. Mel Blanc did so many other characters, same as Hanna Barbara staff... just watch Boomerang network anytime, you will see stuff from the early 70's-80-s with say Fred Flintstones voice, but playing something else...

I really don't like that movie... it makes me cry (shocker, I know)... but had to tell you like Wovenwonder... LOVE your pic!! You have a beautiful family!!
