As I sit here in the Gatwick Clubhouse, not even having boarded the plane yet I realize it will be very hard going back to PE after this. The fast track through security was excellent. We have had a lovely breakfast and are now enjoying a cocktail as I wait for my massage.

BTW Obi, you were also right about the hallway leading to the bathrooms- surreal.

We are delayed 30 minutes and I don't even care.

Unless they have changed the lighting in the bathrooms in recent years, doesn't it make you feel as though they are trying to prevent people from doing something in those bathrooms (assume that they are still lit with UV light...)?

I have had the pleasure of the Heathrow Clubhouse this week, (a quick jet lagged trip to Washington ) and nothing comes close to these temples of passenger comfort.
Pity the on board experiance was not as good, though its either my perception or the service is going downhill still. :-(

have a great time in the land of the Mouse.
Don't forget to eat before going into the Orlando delta room (no food available and none allowed in) go to McCoys for something to eat.

Hi Frances, sorry I have been flying around the US and Europe, (Still got one leg to go yet!)
I am not a major fan of it.
The Broccoli and Stilton soup was nice, the main course of beef hotpot was awful, but the apple crumble pud was OK. I am hoping that the menu will be the winter change by teh time we go to Florida in December.
The food is still not very good :-(
