OBC and final bill

I booked my cruise though a TA and there are 4 of us in 2 staterooms. We received a 300 OBC for booking. My question is would the OBC get split between the 4 of us or would they be applied to my bill only?

Also, when booking an excursion do we pay beforehand or does that get added to our final bill?

Usually OBC from a TA is "per stateroom" and I believe it gets applied to the lead name on each stateroom reservation if there are multiple adults using separate accounts in that room. But since OBC is really something given by the TA, I believe they can determine if it all goes to 1 stateroom or is split, based on the agency's policies so you might want to confirm with your TA how much per stateroom.

Excursions booked through DCL will not be charged in advance, they are charged to your onboard account.

I just asked my DU TA this exact same question. She said it gets equally applied to each stateroom, but it is up to us if we want to change it. So in our case we will put two thirds in one stateroom and the remaining third in the other, because we intend to use our OBCs for gratuities per person, so for us it would make sense to do so in this manner.

On my 2015 cruise I traveled with two friends, so we were three adults in one room. I had a $200 OBB credit and $150 in OBC from my DU TA. That was $350 I wanted to share equally among us. But when I went to guest services to do that I was told they couldn't do it - they could give the $200 to one person and the $100 to one person and the $50 to the third, but they couldn't split it equally. I could, however, buy and onboard credit for each of them in that amount. So I recommend somehow working this out in advance between yourselves, assuming that you alone will get the OBC for your room and what appears to be a lone traveler in the second room will get the full OBC for that room.

OP says their OBCs are from a TA and that they have two staterooms, not one stateroom. So I would suggest they work it out ahead of time with their TA.
