Obama's Magic!

I don't start threads with c&p on politics - I prefer celebrity gossip ones:rotfl2:
My point was for every article you can find that is negative on Obama we can also find one on the McCain Ticket.
I understand that this is your passion and I respect that. However know that others have a different passion.

Yes, OP respects your passion just enough to tromp all over it and hijack your thread because "for every article you can find that is negative on Obama we can also find one on the McCain ticket". So there. Neener neener.

OP you might want to find a less disrespectful way to prove your point. Just saying.

All politicians lie - the higher the office the bigger the lies. Just look at the last two presidents as an example - they both lied, big time. The big surprise is that voters keep falling for it.

I'm shocked, shocked I tell you that a Rupert Murdoch owned paper like the WSJ would do a hatchet job on a Democrat.

Remember Murdoch? Owner of Fox News and numerous tabloids. There all the same news organization, just different names. A tabloid is a tabloid is a tabloid.

What part of the Obama Plan mentioned in the editorial is not accurate?
It's an opinion piece that uses snark. There's nothing to factually dispute because all it's ultimately saying is that Obama can't do everything he's promised. One could just as easily write such a snarky piece about McCain's plans. McCain in the last debate:

...until we stabilize home values in America, we're never going to start turning around and creating jobs and fixing our economy. And we've got to give some trust and confidence back to America. I know how the do that, my friends...I know how to get America working again, restore our economy and take care of working Americans...I know how to fix this economy, and eliminate our dependence on foreign oil, and stop sending $700 billion a year overseas...[re fixing Social Security]I know how to do that...I know how to handle these crises...I'll get Osama bin Laden, my friends. I'll get him. I know how to get him. I'll get him no matter what and I know how to do it...
Snark (courtesy of Jon Stewart): "Why have you been holding out on us?"

:worship:

McCain claims "he knows how to do all these things": Fix the mortgage crises, stabilize the economy, win the war, find Bin Laden, etc.

So while Americans are losing their homes, losing their retirements (DOW opened under 8000), dying in Iraq, and Bin Laden is still on the loose, why doesn't McCain think it's his patriotic duty to make those plans available to the WH NOW? Why wait until the end of January (dream on, John)? How many more Americans will lose their homes, cancel retirement, die in Iraq, and God only knows what Bin Laden if up is we wait until the end of January (dream on, John)?

This does not make sense. McCain claims he has all this support in Washington. Well how about using some of it NOW?

Realistic answer: McCain couldn't find his own butt with his hands and a butt finder.

well then do what I do skip the ones you don't agree with. It's made me feel so much better. Seriously try it.:)

OK. Would an OS please comment on this?

sorry I don't think you'll get an answer because there is no logical answer. I would love to hear the spin on it though. I know they can do it.:lmao:

Each candidate has a platform of things they'd like to get done as POTUS. While "one" candidate looks presidential, is smart, calm, reassuring, and knowledgeable, the "other one" makes erratic decisions (which he's demonstrated several times during the campaign), has no plan, shows impulsiveness and lack of emotional restraint, has a low thresholds for emotional discharge, particularly anger and hostility, and has a potential for taking unnecessary risks and failing to plan ahead.

McCain comes up with his own grandiose plans, but he's not effective in getting the American people to believe him due to his histrionic personality traits.

They're both going to screw up the economy, each one just as much as the other -- the only difference will be the path each takes to get there.

Make your decision on other factors.

It's sad to see so much desperation in the Republican party. Hopefully you guys will be put out of your misery on November 4th. :lmao:
