And pigletgurl? (I think that's your sn... I don't know your name! Sorry!)
I don't understand how you can just ignore what we keep pointing out- most if not all of these embronic cells would be thrown out. And DIE. They might as well go towards a useful cause.:confused3 JMHO

Well how do you know getting involved in the research and all isn't supposed to happen for a reason... and isn't how it's meant to be?
Obviously it wouldn't have come into action and life and all if it wasn't supposed to happen... or whatever. ha :P

I'm just saying that God had a reason or purpose as to why people got sick with certain diseases. People just don't get sick because God just wanted them to. As the saying goes, "Everything happens for a reason."

I'm trying to say this in a mean way..ya know.;)

I was thinking the exact same thing...

I'm just saying, the quotes she pointed out she used in the context of a fetus. However, those quotes can also be used in the context of a person with cancer/diabetes/what have you.

God is a mystery. Sometimes we will never understand why he says or does some things. We, as christians, have to accept His will.

Personally, if accepting God's Will means that I would be dead today, I'd rather not. :)

Okay, and I'm sorry to keep beating this dead horse, but you say that we will never understand and that God is a mystery....but why do you think Christians have the all the "right" answers?

Because God gives us this knowledge.

I'd rather not be dead, either. I'd rather be atheist, alive, and gay than to be straight, uber-Christian, and dead.

Accepting God's will isn't always easy.

 :sad2:
There are some things that need to be kept to yourself.

Oh, and didn't you want to be a hemotologist? Isn't that defying God's Will? Because you're helping someone get better instead of dying "like God wanted".

This disgusts me. :sad2:

Exactly the attitude one would expect from a non-christians. But its okay, Jesus was persecuted, and so are christians, because of His sake, but im okay with that.
Okay. That's it. That's over the top. Now you're (actively) being prejudice against 'non-believers'.

Um...so my non-believer "attitude" is going to send me to Hell? I'm a label now?

Man, you guys just don't get it. And Sonya, being a hematologist does not defy the will of God.

God works through doctors to save lives.(< understand?)

Wanda is NOT being prejudice.

Why doesn't he work through scientists to save lives then?
