If Hillary Clinton gets the nomination, will you be voting for Hillary or against John McCain? Meaning, will you be a less than enthusiastic Clinton supporter?

If I had a vote I'd cast it for Hillary in place of Obama, who I primarily support, very readily.

But then again, I don't have a vote, so it doesn't really matter :upsidedow

Even though I prefer Obama, I like both candidates and would not hesitate to vote for either one. I'm fortunate that I don't have to "hold my nose" and vote for someone I dislike (which I have done in the past) just because they become the party nominee.

I'll be voting FOR the dem, regardless of who wins the nod.

The only folks that seem to be voting "against" someone are the former Romney supporters.

I like both of them and will vote for either Hillary or Obama. I prefer Hillary but so many people hate it I do worry if she could win.

I won't be voting. My feelings about Clinton's character and McCain's views even them out. There is no lesser of two evils there for me.

DH and I have been talking about this situation. We lean much more to Obama than anyone else. We don't consider ourselves Democrat or Republican but lean more toward the Dem's stance. Neither one of us care for Hillary Clinton but clearly wouldn't want McCain to win either. I think we are still undecided if the election is McCain vs. Clinton

You should really post this as a poll.... I agree with Honu on this.

I don't hate John McCain..It wouldn't be the end of the world if he gets elected.. I'll vote for Clinton...I don't dislike her either, I just feel a Clinton presidency will be as divisive the Bush presidency

I was really not interested in the "numbers" but the discussion. Feel free to however, I won't mind. ;)

Since you are a conservative, why are you interested in the discussion and not just the numbers? Isn't that what the Liberal thread is for?? The discussion?

I couldn't tell ya, I don't read the liberal thread.

I support Hillary Clinton. If Barak Obama gets the nomination I will vote for John McCain.

Clinton is my second choice. :)

If Obama doesn't get the nomination (and I believe he will), I'll be voting for Clinton and will be satisfied, though not overly thrilled about it.

Obama and Clinton are practically interchangable on policy. The difference is that Clinton's experience comes a lot of political baggage and political debts to be paid.

I would also add that Barack shows clear superiority when it comes to his leadership abilities (not to mention his decision making).

But I would absolutely vote for Hillary. I actually used to respect McCain before he sold his soul to the Bush white house in hopes of getting to follow him in the office.

Ditto. :thumbsup2

Although I support Obama, I will gladly, if necessary, vote FOR Hillary.

It's okay, Rich. I'll think of you while I vote for Hillary!
