What part of PA are you from? How were the crowds?

Did anyone catch the Daily Show last night? Can you give a rundown?

For whoever said moving the goalposts, that was already done to Indiana by Bill, so they are all set LOL...

I live in the Lehigh Valley. I was in line at 7:00. Alot of college kids. They had police directing traffic.

I live right across the street from our polling place. I have been watching all morning and there has been a steady stream. I have never seen it like this.

What gets me about all of this is there's no "winning" in the Democratic primaries. There's no "winner take all". Delegates are divided proportionally.

This whole concept is ridiculous.

Btw, did anyone see Hillary on Olbermann. What was so damned funny about questions over Richard Mellon-Scaife?

:lmao: ............. He (Mellon-Scaife) spent millions trying to bring down the Clinton presidency.

:lmao: ............. He (Mellon-Scaife) accused me and Bill of murdering Vince Foster

:lmao: ............. He (Mellon-Scaife) had interesting things to say

It was a real laugh-fest.

I don't know about the rest of you, but if it was me, I would've met Mellon-Scaife for one reason and one reason only: To tell him to "go to hell" and to stick his endorsement up his back passage to keep his head company.

But, she'll do anything to be president even if it means debasing herself in front of her worst enemy.

Btw, even if she loses tonight, she'll come up with another wild story of how it was really victory, or PA doesn't count, or PA is a big state and not a big-big state, etc., etc., etc.

I was wondering why she was laughing so much during Keith's question about him....kind of weird I thought.

I am so jealous....I live in South Jersey and it feels like Philadelphia in a lot of ways, so I feel kind of left out today....I feel that living so close to Pa, I should get to vote again:lmao:

I wish you could. I think I remember hearing there might be a few rules against voting twice, though. ;) :lmao: :lmao:

I am a rule breaker baby!!!:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

It sucks because all of the local news I watch is from Philadelphia, and the election today is (obviously) all over the news....it's like seeing all of your friends go swimming in the summer and I am sitting on the side watching them with my arm in a cast or something!!!!!! :lmao:

Not trying to pour more salt in the wound but it has been very exciting around here today.:dance3:

It's okay:goodvibes I am just glad to see that the 22nd has finally arrived, and I am optimistic about what today will bring!!!!! I hope all those college kids are casting ballots for Obama!! I just can't wait for tonight, to watch the results!!! popcorn::

Seems to me she always does that weird, croaking chortle right before she tells a lie (oops sorry, I meant 'misspeaks').

Did anyone notice when questioned why was she attacking Obama about complimentary comments he made about McCain when she had done the exact same thing, she said she had not done the same thing. This woman would not know the truth if it stared her in the face and say boo.

On this one I cut her some slack. I think her coping mechanism for dealing with things that are either extraordinarily painful or embarrassing is to give a rather loud, odd, forced laugh. She's been through a lot in her life.

I was sitting at the computer writing something for school, while I was listening to her on Keith Olbermann's show. The one thing that perked my ears up was that weird laugh. That, of course, made me turn around to actually watch what was going on. I just couldn't believe her response to Keith's question. I don't think Keith was trying to joke around with his question, but her laughing throughout it was a bit unnerving. The laughing was weird, but it was even weirder that she was interested in meeting with this guy and accepting his endorsement, someone who was out for her husband's head years ago...politics is strange, isn't it????

That's quite an excellent vantage point you have there! Glad to hear people are getting out to vote! I know we had record turnout here.... It'll be an evening I guess!

I was reading some comments from supporters on the Obama blog and there have been calls to radio stations that some ballots don't even have Obama's name on them? :confused3

Wonder if it's legal to take a phone pix of something like this.
Hopefully there are poll watchers that are getting the word out, if it's true. Worrisome.:sad2:

That is a good idea...I always hate hearing about stuff like that...it takes the wind out of my sails, and scares me!!! All I can say is....GO Obama!!!!!

Apparently, people have been doing just that.

I also just read this:

"I immediately called every News channel I could get through to. Persons who answered at the stations informed me that my ward was not the only one with broken machines and 'Paper ballots (as an alternative) without Obama's name on it. These provisional ballots did have Hiliary's name on them."

How in God's name does a country like ours not get a verifiable paper trail ballot and voting machines that work?!

It probably hasn't helped that Ed Rendell has all but declared himself Hillary's BFF. (Sorry Bill.) Sadly, there may have been more than a few folks in PA who were so excited they thought it might be a great idea to help their candidate over the fence.
NJ-that blog is a very interesting read!

Well good Lord, can people at least WRITE his name in? This is alarming. Like we need MORE flippin election controversy.

I'm a professional forms designer (yes, you read that right) and it's time like these that my friends and family finally realize the potential importance of what I do.
