Catch the latest excuse Hillary has come up with in her saga "A Funny Thing Happened On My Way To My Coronation"?

It appears, Hillary blames "Democratic party activists and Moveon.org" for her losses.

Not her crappy campaign.

Not her phony claims to "experience".

Not her knack for throwing a turd and watching it become a boomerang ........... over and over and over again.

Not her lying about being under fire leading to questions as to why she would take her daughter on such a dangerous trip.

Not her claims to be against NAFTA when the record shows she actively lobbied for it.

Not her vote on that disgrace of a bankruptcy bill.

Not her vote on the Kyle-Lieberman amendment.

Nooo, it's a vast leftwing conspiracy. Poor Hillary. If it isn't a rightwing conspiracy that's out to get her, it's a leftwing conspiracy.

It's scary to think she actually may just believe this as this may give her a greater claim to LaLa Land than even Bush. And that's saying something.

Actually, it's the voters who should get the blame. Without them, she'd be on the way to being measured for her crown. Damn voters should've stayed home and just handed her the nomination by affirmation :lmao:

Well, maybe if she can't stand the heat she should get out of the kitchen.

Al Giordano's The Field is predicting:

HRC 52.3
Obama 47.7

HRC 81 delegates
Obama 77 delegates

If that is the case, I'm going streaking.

That sounds like quite a celebration!!

I can't figure out why these numbers are never mentioned by the talking heads.

Cash Struggle Continues for Clinton, Filings Show

"Mrs. Clinton, of New York, currently has $10.3 million in outstanding primary debts but only $9.5 million available to cover them, leaving an $800,000 shortfall at the end of March......
....."Some of Mrs. Clinton’s biggest obligations in the $10.3 million in unpaid bills are to those who are — or were — members of her inner circle."...
... "Should Mrs. Clinton become her party’s nominee, she can use the $22 million raised for her general race to pay these debts. If she does not win the nomination, she would have to cover the debts from additional fund-raisers, from money left over from her 2006 Senate campaign or by writing her campaign a check.

“Ten million dollars is a big number standing alone,” said Ken Gross, a campaign finance lawyer in Washington. “We’ve not seen a lot of numbers of that magnitude. As a percentage of the total amount she has raised, it is not huge. But we are not used to seeing eight-figure debt in a campaign.”

If it happens that way, Hillary will spin it into the greatest victory since Reagan's landslide.

Amazing, isn't it?

The build up to PA has been an exercise in ignoring the math. The scenarios that would lead to her taking the nomination are outlandish.

I just have to say...this all makes me so sad. I was once a Hillary hater-but I gained so much respect for her watching her in NY as a Senator. I changed my opinion just by watching her work. I'm really sorry to see that it's all degenerated into this current situation.

If she ends up losing the nomination, and it looks very much like she will-it will be no occasion of joy for me. I'll be happy to vote for Senator Obama, of course-but I'll still be sorry things ended the way they did.

I'm the same way as you - I was a Hillary hater until I saw her work in NY and really admired her (I think we have talked about this in other threads).

However I have lost all respect for her during this primary. She has truly shown me why a majority of Americans not only dislike her, but distrust her as well.

I think it says something about the current state of the primary when the Conservatives are posting on the Hillary thread wishing her luck and hoping for a 'huge win' today for Hillary.

I think she'll pull off 53%. ;)
If that happens, she'll declare a massive victory and fight, fight, fight to the convention floor. Even though the Clintons are certain this is fantastic for the Democratic party, I think it will be just handing the presidency to McCain on a silver platter. Good job. :headache:

They're not dumb. The longer Clinton stays in, splits the Democratic party, and makes the DNC look helpless, the better the chances are for the Reps in Nov. (It's quite possible there won't be a Democratic nominee until the end of Aug...making real race only about a short couple of months. I worry we'll never recover.) Meanwhile Sen. McCain can look presidential, and Mrs. McCain- bet she is already spending some of her beer money on inaugural gowns.

I just got back from casting my vote. :thumbsup2

What part of PA are you from? How were the crowds?

Did anyone catch the Daily Show last night? Can you give a rundown?

For whoever said moving the goalposts, that was already done to Indiana by Bill, so they are all set LOL...

What gets me about all of this is there's no "winning" in the Democratic primaries. There's no "winner take all". Delegates are divided proportionally.

This whole concept is ridiculous.

Btw, did anyone see Hillary on Olbermann. What was so damned funny about questions over Richard Mellon-Scaife?

:lmao: ............. He (Mellon-Scaife) spent millions trying to bring down the Clinton presidency.

:lmao: ............. He (Mellon-Scaife) accused me and Bill of murdering Vince Foster

:lmao: ............. He (Mellon-Scaife) had interesting things to say

It was a real laugh-fest.

I don't know about the rest of you, but if it was me, I would've met Mellon-Scaife for one reason and one reason only: To tell him to "go to hell" and to stick his endorsement up his back passage to keep his head company.

But, she'll do anything to be president even if it means debasing herself in front of her worst enemy.

Btw, even if she loses tonight, she'll come up with another wild story of how it was really victory, or PA doesn't count, or PA is a big state and not a big-big state, etc., etc., etc.
