We should send the garbage disposal Clinton's way.

I really like that idea!

My 72 year old MIL is so disgusted with Clinton she doesn't know what to do except not vote for her, she's REALLY disgusted. She's a rather outgoing person, umm, cough, umm, forceful & she's REALLY not happy with what's been coming out of the Clinton campaign.....

My 83-year old momma is really peeved at the Clinton campaign. She said, while watching MSNBC tonight, "I'm so disgusted with all this mess and now Geraldine Ferraro is doing it too. They're not throwing the kitchen sink at Obama, they're throwing the toilet bowl!" I laughed but then I thought, "Hey, it's funny but she's right." I'm going to send the comment to the Obama campaign.

that is a great line !!!! and true too....your momma rocks!!!

Hey neighbor! When Obama wins in November we can have drinks at Reston Town Center. And not pinot grigio. Bring on the champagne!!!:thumbsup2

OBAMA WINS TEXAS CAUCUS: CNN is reporting that Barack Obama has won the Texas Caucus, the second part of the so-called Texas Two-Step, giving him more delegates than Hillary Clinton from the Lone Star State:

Illinois Sen. Barack Obama has won the Texas Democratic caucuses and will get more delegates out of the state than his rival, Sen. Hillary Clinton, who won the state's primary, according to CNN estimates.

Under the Texas Democratic Party's complex delegate selection plan, Texas voters participated in both a primary and caucuses on March 4. Two-thirds of the state's 193 delegates were at stake at the primary, while the remaining third were decided by the caucuses.

An additional 35 superdelegates were not tied to either contest. Clinton, of New York, defeated Obama in the primary by a 51-47 percent margin. But results of the caucuses were up in the air on election night and for several days afterward, due to state party rules that did not require local caucus officials to report their results to a centralized location.

Partial caucus results, representing 41 percent of all caucus precincts, showed Obama last week with 56 percent of the county-level delegates chosen at the caucuses to 44 percent for Clinton. The state party says it will not be able to provide a further breakdown of the caucus results from March 4.
After a comprehensive review of these results, CNN estimates that Obama won more support from Texas caucus-goers than Clinton. Based on the state party's tally, Obama's caucus victory translates into 38 national convention delegates, compared to 29 for Clinton.

And though Clinton won more delegates than Obama in the primary, 65 to 61, Obama's wider delegate margin in the caucuses gives him the overall statewide delegate lead, 99 to 94 -- or once superdelegate endorsements are factored in, 109 to 106.

Don't everyone forget that California finally finished it's tallies and Obama received 4 more delegates while Clinton lost 4.... the overall difference was 9%, single digits!

Now, on an aside in Mississippi, 98% of the vote is in, Obama is up 22% with 94,001 extra popular votes with 99% reporting, that is something to celebrate on this evening....

We should all pledge to phone bank into PA to help with the efforts, every call is important, and if you haven't signed up to volunteer, please do so, it's really very important. Right now I think the margin is 12% but it will take all of us to help win this primary.

Pledged delegate lead looks to be 162 at this moment.... that's the pledged delegate... this is according to the CNN news cast.

Newest numbers:

Still 98% in,

we're ahead 96,778 in the popular vote & 24% (61-37%) percentage points... Very good showing no matter how you match it up.

Don't know the net delegate count, I heard it would be a 7 point net delegate if we did not get to 63%... otherwise could be a net 9.

We are now up by 700K votes in the popular vote. :thumbsup2 Last night was a huge win for us because we added 100K to the popular vote lead.

Also, Clinton is now further behind than she was before March 4. It's going to be a looooooooong 6 weeks.

Chuck Todd (my favorite math guy) was saying last night Obama is a few hundred votes short of picking up 2 more delegates in Ohio, which he'll likely get when counting the provisional ballots.

I have to say the mess with Geralding Ferraro is really making me sick.

Where are all the Clinton supporters who clamored for the Obama staffer (who made what she thought was an off the record remark) to be hired?
Why are they suddently silent.

I'm glad the media is keeping up on this.

This just shows that the Clinton campaign is getting more desperate and, if
possible, even sleazier.

I hope all the "kitchen sink" garbage she threw at Obama before the Texas and Ohio primaries comes back to haunt her. I was watching MSNBC last night and they were starting to dispell all the things she threw at Obama. I hope people can wake up and see what a "smear campaign" the Clintons are really running.

They are silent because they like the tone and tenor of what is being said. It's as simple as that.... many people will not wake up to these tactics, why? I have no idea... maybe people like these politics the way they are, I've no idea. Of the people I've spoken to most seem to be disgusted right now.....

This party is in very serious trouble at the moment to let this negative crap go on, if it continues to go on we will be saying hello to President McCain...

But the point is to win the primary, Samantha Powers was quite correct in what she said regarding the Clinton campaign... D*mn the party good.... look out only for your political aspirations.

Now up to 71k vote lead. It's important to keep our overall popular vote lead. we can't lose the nomination with more states won, more pledged delegates, and more votes.

It would make the party look ridiculous if Hillary Clinton won the nomination without any of those.

Actually, the party looks quite bad right now. Obama is up 703K votes (up 400K if you count the non-counting Florida primary), is up in the delegate count, which will never be caught at this point with 10 races to go, and we continue this negative crap for what reason? Oh, because we'd like a third Bush term... The party is disintegrating in front of our faces.

Agreed. Although one has to wonder after the FL delegation came out adamantly against a revote in FL, what is going to happen when Clinton doesn't win the 65% she needs in PA and the other states. I can't see this going until August - what a crapshoot as the nominee would have 2 months to not only rally the party but rally the rest of the country around them.

I think Pelosi's comments yesterday are just the beginning of the whispers.

Hey - here is a set of stupid questions for you.

His lawn signs....where do you get those?

His appearances... where are they published (on the web site under "events," I find local group gatherings and not his appearances.)

Try contacting your precinct captain for signs, but many precincts have had a shortage of them. You can also order them online for $8.

I ordered a lawn sign about 4 months ago :lmao: . I finally got one by calling a local VA office before the primary here and getting one. I think you'd be better off doing that since the PA offices will be getting shipments in for visibility purposes.

I don't think he has figured out his PA schedule yet but once he does it should be on the PA state page or on the Events part of the website. All you see are the local events that are run by supporters instead of "the campaign" until they finalize the schedule.

Hope it helps! :)

Thanks - now I need to decide whether I would help or hurt him by placing his sign on my lawn. Not sure what the neighbors think of us :rotfl:

I guess you'll soon find out. ;) I know he was in Fairless Hills at a wind turbine plant yesterday. I'm sure PA voters will be seeing lots of him! :thumbsup2
