Political punch-good analysis of Kos...and where he stands on the election. It is sad that Clinton has deliberately selected such a divisive track.

""First of all, the only path to victory for Clinton is via coup by super delegate. She knows this. That's why there's all the talk about poaching pledged delegates and spinning uncertainty around Michigan and Florida, and laying the case for super delegates to discard the popular will and stage a coup. Yet a coup by super delegate would sunder the party in civil war. Clinton knows this, it's her only path to victory, and she doesn't care. She is willing -- nay, eager to split the party apart in her mad pursuit of power. If the situations were reversed, and Obama was lagging in the delegates, popular vote, states won, money raised, and every other reasonable measure, then I'd feel the same way about Obama. (I pulled the plug early on Dean in 2004.) But that's not the case.

"It is Clinton, with no reasonable chance of victory, who is fomenting civil war in order to overturn the will of the Democratic electorate. As such, as far as I'm concerned, she doesn't deserve 'fairness' on this site. .."

:thumbsup2 I had to laugh when her supporters staged a "strike" of the site and then tried to redact from that. I hear Clinton being called a fighter - and that's right...she is fighting her own party and will probably bring it down.

I can't wait for the speech today. :thumbsup2

I am so excited to hear the speech today, too. I live about 15 minutes from the Constitution Center in Philadelphia, I wish I could somehow see this speech in person! I have great confidence in Obama and I am looking forward to watching this on MSNBC.

That would be such a great thing to tell your grandkids someday, if you could go. I hope they air it online so I can watch from work.

She is doing a bang-up job of making those in her own party begin to loathe her and her campaign. I will have a very hard time embracing HRC as the candidate after this mess.

Did anyone see Coutdown last night? Keith was talking about how HRC had taken a quote from Obama's fired aide(the one originally from Ireland, drawing a blank on the name) saying that Obama won't follow through on his promise to remove troops from Iraq quickly. Keith showed how the quote was taken entirely out of context and obviously a huge stretch!!! Her lie, along with everything else negative coming from HRC camp makes me sick. I just read something about how some people are sick of Obama doing whatever he has to do to win....doesn't this seem a little backwards? If anything, it is the Clinton's who are the ones to fear!

I would love to see Obama in person....I have the kids on board too...my daughter made me a "Go, Barack, Go" poster...too cute. :goodvibes

I have no illusions about any politician. They will ALL do what it takes to win, that's how they got where they are.

Hilllary's a politician and she will do anything to win, but I think we are being dishonest to ourselves if we don't admit that Obama will do what he needs to win as well. I've admitted here before that I don't like Clinton's campaign style, and I'm glad Obama is not following in a similar vein. However, I will not lose sight of the fact that he's a politician too and I won't be surprised when he acts like one.

No I missed that! I just loved yesterday's comment from the campaign saying its "politics as usual" to *God forbid!* ask for her tax returns, donations to the Clinton library, and her earmarks. Clinton herself calling her strategy the "kitchen sink strategy." :confused3

I'm liking this poll...
http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/03/17/poll.democrats/index.html

" Fifty-two percent of registered Democrats questioned in a new CNN/Opinion Research Corporation survey say the senator from Illinois is their choice for president, with 45 percent supporting Clinton.

The poll also suggests Democrats are more enthusiastic about an Obama victory (45 percent) than for a victory by the senator from New York (38 percent)."

:teeth: city by city...county by county...state by state!

You are right, but I find it laughable when a Hillary supporter would act as if Obama is the only one acting that way...I watched a clip of HRC last evening on her plane talking to reporters bashing Obama with a quote her campaign had to know was totally erroneous. I don't think Obama is an innocent babe in the woods when it comes to playing politics, but Hillary has it down to an art.

She's been at it longer and she's good at it. I won't take that away from her or Bill, they play the game exceptionally well.

Obama is going to have his "politician" moments, I think we as supporters will lose a lot of respect if we try to deny or sugar coat them when we see them. That's really the point I wanted to make.

That is true, he is after all a politician too. I guess, at least to me, he didn't seem as political as Hill, but they all have to play the game. :)

Just want to check in... interesting MSNBC conversation at the moment.... How the Clinton's pastor had an illegitimate child out of wedlock, they didn't leave the church... I thought that was interesting....

Saw both Hardball & Countdown, they were great :thumbsup2 The SNL skit, pretty funny.... I also saw where McCain said we'd be staying in Afghanistan for a hundred years yesterday, and that Iran was on the table....

Is that what everyone wants? I'm fairly curious.

Sally Quinn-most of her comments on MSNBC came straight from her column today.
