So here is my saga: heading down to disney in Aug. with daughters 10 & 3 which was going to be a quick trip but b/c of FTP is now 7 ngts. Tried for POF, was booked, was going to do CSR but then booked WL b/c difference was only around $400 give or take. Of course now I am second guessing the money and found both POF and CSR on travelocity still available (will check with disney too) My partner and 5 mo. old daughter are coming down to meet us mid-trip.

Will I regret a move to moderate even with the savings?
I have stayed at Dixie Landings but with construction will services be overloaded?
I CSR nice?
And traveling alone with two kids which would keep me sane?

I guess because I am a very bad decision maker I am looking for expert advice!!!

CSR is a wonderful resort. I prefer it over many of the Deluxes.

I have stayed at the Poly many times, and to tell you the truth I'd rather stay at CSR over the Poly or Beach/Yacht Club or WL.

The trick is to just make your decision, then put it out of your mind....No second guessing. Don't let every single positive or negative post you read after making your decision sway you. Everyone has different expectations of service and surroundings.

The one thing I can tell you is that I have NEVER been unhappy, or wished I had stayed elsewhere, in over a dozen onsite stays. Even the times I have arrived not really sure I've made the right decision, I've always been happy with my resort....room location, and view.

Well, just what you need..different opinions! I have stayed at both CSR and WL and would choose WL over CSR anytime. DH and I did not care for CSR because of the extremely long walks to the pool and main areas. Plus, it felt more like a convention business resort than a vacation hotel. Of all the hotels we have stayed at, it is our least favorite. But, I must agree, all the WDW resorts are lovely and you really can't go wrong!:D

Thanks for the input so far. I have always enjoyed our stays and with the exception of the CBR liked all the properties. I want my girls to "feel" disney! And traveling alone I guess the added features of the deluxe hotels (room service, more dining choices) appeals to me. Just the $$ thing!

My fear with the POR is it may be too crowded with the remodeling and all.

The CSR does look appealing however!

This all may be water under the bridge b/c rooms may not be available anywhere else by the time I stop my decision making!!

Oh. One other q:

We are staying one extra night: Any thoughts of were to stay?:)
