O.k. I am freaking out a bit...

My husband and I have been talking about going to WDW for this xmas. We could not find any great flights and my husband was not sure, as we just went in May. I found a pretty good price yesterday and today he said just go for it. So now we have flights Dec 24-31. DH, ME DD 9, DS 7. Now I am in panic mode. We need to find a place to stay (offsite of course) and a car. I know it will all work out, but I have always had 6 or 7 months to plan, not 30 days!!!!

We met at McDonalds in Leduc this past summer. It's great to see that your going again to WDW and for Christmas too. We would love to do that. But after this summer at DL I think I will avoid the high crowds. We actually leave on Wednesday for DL for a week and I only booked it on the 15th of Nov. I know it will all work out there are tons of places to stay. Sometimes the rush of the planning is a lot of fun stressful but fun. I'm sure you will find just what your looking for. And have a blast!

Check out grand palms in the Kissimmee area. I checked your dates and most places are booked but there were a couple condos that are still available at good rates.

I think there is a web site for Windsor Hils that allows you to enter what you are looking for (dates, numebr of bedrooms etc) and then you get a TON of responses from owners. Sorry I don't rememebr the web site but perhaps you might know it or someone wlse might post it. If a condo isnt' rented this close to check in date, I am assuming that the owners may give you a discounted rate.

Thanks, riu girl. More condo ideas please. We would like a condo instead of a hotel. We rented a 6 bdr house in May and have been spoiled now. I have contacted many people, but not sure who to trust. We went through
vacationbythemouse.com last time and it was great, but more then what we need this time. They have a 4 bdr. but still to high for what we need this time. So any ideas for a 2 or 3 bdr. condo would be greatly appreciated.

If interested in a condo, hotel kingdom actually had some available (along with hotels).

Another web site that offers both hotel rooms and condos I think is called www.hotelmartusa.com. I remember looking at them earlier this year for Christmas week and some nice condos came up at either Fiesta Key (maybe Cay) of Ventian Bay maybe. Can't remember exactly it was months ago but I remember rates being very reasonable.

I think through hotwire weekly specials or travelzoo nick hotel is $99 (plus $20 nightly resort fee) for a one bedroom unit ($50 more for weekends).

No we are not. We ended up cancelling the trip back in August because of our summer trip to DL. Air fair was getting outragous and the dollar wasn't as good as it is now but hindsight I wish I wouldn't of cancelled. Although it might be better to wait until my youngest is a little older and taller because man he would be po'd if he couldn't go on Space Mountain which he loves at DL because he is too short.
