1. Where we you when you heard the verdict?

2. Do you still agree/disagree with the verdict?

Also- PBS will be airing a Frontline show about the verdict, looking forward to seeing that, ought to be interesting.

I was at work eating lunch in the cafeteria, a group even cheered when the verdict was read so some were happy about it

I didn't agree with the verdict but since I was on maternity leave for a few month's before that I'd watched some of the trial. I wasn't surprised by the verdict at all. I still believe that starting with the police and continuing with the prosecution team there were so many mistakes made. Hopefully they are using it in law schools as examples of what not to do ;)

I was shopping in ShopRite and they wired the announcement over the loudspeaker.

I neither agree or disagree.

I was sitting in my living room in Houston TX, and I was happy that the whole circus was over.

I was in a bar and immediately collected the free lunch I won in the office pool for guessing the verdict and date of the verdict (closest to the date, actually).

O.J. is guilty, but proved that as long as you don't confess the State has an uphill battle. Having Johnny Cochrane on your side wouldn't hurt either.

I was at work...and I didn't agree with it then and I don't agree with it now. Then again, I didn't agree with how the case was handled either.

I was at work when the verdict came out. We were making it the lead story, of course. I remember hearing about it first on the PRODIGY internet service! LOL.

I "agree" with the verdict insofar as they didn't prove the case. But I do 100% believe that he did it.

I was watching what is called a "backhaul" in TV. This is a satellite feed that regular viewers do not see. OJ was scheduled to go live as a sideline reporter. Just before they went live, his segment was cut.

He went BALLISTIC! I don't mean like he was angry. I mean like he wasn't even human. Yelling obsceniteis at the producer or director. Accusing them of racsim. He threw his microphone and almost hit someone with it. Having seen that, I could see that he had an unbelieveable temper, and could make the leap, in my mind, that his temper was so bad that killing his wife seemed entirely believable.

I wonder if he is still looking for the "real killer".

O.J. Simpson minus the football equals Scott Peterson. but at least Peterson's in prison.

O.J and A.C were actually back in LA this weekend signing autographs at a comic book convention for $95.00. they also sold signed copies of the 'white bronco' police chase. that's class. :)

I was around 5 months pregnant, watching at home when I heard the verdict. I followed the trial almost every day. I believe they set a murderer free. The police sure did botch the case for the prosecution, but I believe the jury could have easily voted guilty based on what evidence they did have. Scott Peterson had less evidence and he's behind bars, O.J. should be too.

I was at work when the verdict came in. We actually brought in a TV to watch it.

I watched a LOT of the trial at home ( I was only working part time then) I did not believe that the prosecution proved that he was guilty. The glove did not fit. :earseek: If there ever was a visual aid for innocence, that was it. For all time! Guilty or not, it was probably the single most compelling point to vote for "not guilty". I can still picture OJ trying to put that glove on his hand. I think that too many questions were left unanswered by the prosecution. Too many strange characters in the parade of witnesses....look at Mark Fuhrman, and surfer dude Kato. A star struck judge. The nasty sister.

I thought maybe his son did it. :confused3

I was in Chamber Singers rehearsal and somebody's beeper went off. She checked and said the verdict. Our conductor was annoyed at the interruption, as was the rest of us. She couldn't wait until rehearsal was over to find out.

As for me, I was a Resident Assistant at my college and my floor was the most racially mixed in my dorm. I came back that day to a long list of complaints about running and screaming in the halls and a few disagreements....

The best part of the OJ trial for me was that I was studying abroad that summer in France and I didn't have it crammed down my throat on a daily basis.

As for OJ's culpability, I think he probably was guilty. Only God and OJ know for sure and there are no legal Dream Teams on Judgment Day.

I was in 6th Grade Science class. I remember all of the teachers stopped class to show the verdict.

My class was split half and half, all of the whites wanted a guilty verdict, all of the blacks wanted not guilty. I was with the black half of the class on this one. I remember jumping up and down and celebrating with my friend, and then a girl in my class burst into tears.

I'm about 70% sure he did it, but the verdict was right. The case was not proven beyond a reasonable doubt.

I was in college and I don't remember what I was doing when the verdict came out - maybe drinking? No, just kidding. I agree with the verdict as they didnt prove the case but I do think he did it.

As far as the "murderer" aspect...I am sure there are plenty of men and women out there that would kill out of a cheating situation...I bet it happens all the time...sad to think about though! Most of those people get put behind bars though.

So, ten years later and a wonder how O.J.'s search for the "real killer" is going??? :rolleyes1

1. I was on my lunch hour at work. My friend and I were in Best Buy where they had about 50 TV's on tuning into the event. Not Guilty was read and most of the people around us cheered, unbelievably!

2. I still disagree with the verdict today.

From what I hear, OJ is now 100% sure that the real killer isn't to be found at ANY golf course; he has checked out each one personally.

I don't remember where I was, but I do remember thinking of my mother. She died during the circus, and everyday she had complained that my dad had it on all day long.

I was at home watching live. I was so sad when he was found not guilty. I tottally diaagreed with the verdict.

I was at work, having just returned from maternity leave. We all watched it on the TV at work....the racial divide that was common throughout America as it pertained to the case was alive and well at work as well. :(

I do think O.J. Simpson got away with murder. And I think the prosecution could have shown a videotape of him actually doing the deed and he still would have gotten away with murder. I think the jury had a mind to acquit from the get go.

On another note, every time I see OJ's bloated, smirking face on the TV, I feel like putting my foot through the screen. While he spends the rest of his worthless life strutting around golf courses, his victims are still dead. :(
