I think swivel seat at the 360 degree movie would be so much better than craning your neck.

I have found that the best thing to do is stand or sit on the floor in the back of the auditorium (opposite wall from the host's podium). I go back there and can see almost everything without having to turn my head much. Same in France - the best seats are toward the back.
