Hey believe it or not I'm going to see Brenda before the cruise. Not much before I'm going on CM weekend with her and some others 12/12-12/14 at Seascape, by the sea of course

so if yesterday was 12/26....then today we board so Rus & I are up (at 5am) showered - dressed & READY to go...jumping up & down waiting for Chel & Ryan.....


YES Chel & I actually DO get to meet Nan before the cruise! isn't that great???? We will have such a fun wkend at Seascape!!

Was a GREAT weekend for us....SF WON Friday night's FB game against Aptos (who has held State Champ titles)...and it was SF' 4th win in a row

Cleaned my house Sat & made a Storybook for Julia from the DL wkend...then last night we had all the family over for mine & Jen's BD celebration....so definitely a fun wkend!!!

We have a race in Salinas next weekend and I checked with Brenda to see if she was around and nope once again she and I have the only schedules in the world that are smack not compatiable.

Turn Left at off ramp stop sign, Stay on Reservation Road to Imjin Road (2.8 Miles), Turn Left on Imjin Road to red & white water tower (Visible from edge of town). Just past water tower, turn Right @ driveway (see sign)

I will be voting for Penny shortly.. just setting up my account w/them first.

Lets see.. if today was 12/26, then I am on a plane headed for Phily first (DCL has us connecting on the way down) then onto MCO by 12:48pm. From there we will check into our hotel at the airport, then rent a car and head over to MGM (yes, I told you guys I refuse to use the new name!! lol) to jump in line for TSM and then take in all the christmas decorations. Dinner will be at the Brown Derby at 8pm. From there we plan on heading over to MK to walk down Main Street and see the decorations.. Then back to the hotel to get some sleep before heading to the ship!!!

DCL called me yesterday, I was nervous at first, was afraid they were going to tell me it was cancelled, or that they were on to my stalking ways.. then I was elated, thinking that I got an upgrade possibly.. then heard what she was saying.. that they were calling me to let me know my flight info for the cruise OVER a month before I was told it would be possible to find out.

12/26 - at this time, we should be getting close to the Columbus airport for our long awaited cruise. Once we board in Columbus, off to Atlanta for a quick layover and switch plane, and hopefully into Orlando and situated in the Hyatt for a peaceful dinner and good nights sleep. Oh, I cannot wait!!

Happy Belated Birthday, Brenda! I can't believe it's already been a year since that day we had our picture taken with Capt. Jack on your birthday visit to NYC.

Got some news...Chad has an interview with the FBI on Friday. He put in an application last week, and got the call on Friday that they were further interested in him. And tonight he starts mixed martial arts classes. So he's been as happy as a pig in slop all weekend!

Jesse's going for a hair trim after school today, and it's killing me that he has to go to an expensive salon just to get 1/100th of an inch cut. I told him to go to the barber up the block for $6 for a trim, but he says he's afraid "they won't get it right". My son and his hair!

Did everyone have beautiful weather over the 3-day weekend? It was gorgeous here, warm but no humidity, but I'd still prefer the crisp autumn air.

Any cruise news??

great news Kelly...but i have to say that i'm shocked you'd rather refer to that park as MGM rather than DISNEY STUDIOS....??????????????????????????

thank you maam - it was a nice BD celebration - not NYC with all of you & Capt Jack...but nice never the less...even tho the real date isn't till Monday 10/20...

BTW...my DD turns 30 on 10/10/10.....we think the only appropriate celebration for that is a FAMILY (DALE INCLUDED) trip to Disney!!!!! Maybe even add on a cruise....something Disney anyway!!!!

ummm... I think DCL is having some MAJOR issues w/their website today. I just tried to see the price of the Westbound cruise. I got an error message, then I tried to log in, to check out my flight info again, and it says it doesnt recognize my username or password.. WTH!?!?!

Then I tried calling and the lines are BUSY.. guess the economy isnt doing to bad!

The economy is ok as long as you're not in finance, transportation or retail...

Kelly, I actually haven't entered too many contests...the rules have a habit to either force me to give up my rights to my photographs or my favorite: people who live in NJ aren't eligible I am (modestly) very proud of my photographs - esp when I can go to place like Disney just to "practice" taking them.

Keep me in the loop on all your 2009 and 2010 and even 2011 plans my Magic Mateys. If and when I am able to start traveling again I plan on meeting as many of my internet friends as possible in as many places as I am able to travel - preferably on a trip to Disney somehow~

I started doing that last year. In 2007 all of my trips included a mini meet with someone I know. It can be scary meeting for the first time but feels like we've been neighbors forever. There are some misses I really want to make up such as Kaz and Sam back in December 2007. We had a meet set up at the Turf Club the day they were to land from London. I've read many of Kaz's trip reports and know the chances are high that the flight would run behind. They did. By many, many hours I'm told. And dDeb. She was supposed to be at the SF Giants game to meet me in California. She missed a rediculously cold, entertaining game and the pleasure of meeting Nan and her crew. I can totally blame her Ex husband for that one~

Ok.. so its US air down, and Delta back for the DCL air that was purchased.

So.. a lot of time in the air on the way down, minimal time in the air on the way back.

I moved our dummy date to the EB TA for Wilson & I. It was a reasonable rate of $2K+ but I have to come up with $1K in deposits, cat 11. Not liking that deposit right now But I am having a nice time in my head thinking of a 14 day vaca with my son in 2010
