Thumper! How cute! I almost want to get a rabbit just to name it Thumper.:goodvibes

By the way, my Fishie is dead in the bowl. I'm waiting for Jesse to get home to take the slimey thing out. Yuk!

Note to self: Do not allow Aisling to babysit our pet.

 :rotfl2: :thumbsup2

John and I have taken over care of Brittany's animals. Artman, Your cat is really pretty btw...Britt brought Penny Lane home, and a beta fish named :Raab the fish: I think, and a mouse named Algernon.

We already had the cat :Precious: and Mika puppy.

We don't do rabbits and had a pair guinea pigs once. We've had a chinchilla, an Iguana, Cockatiels and big fish :Oscars and Pirahna. TBH The Pirahna were boring.

Brenda, I posted the link there and then came over here to tell you about it :surfweb:

Judy, I seriously woulda been a total mess if we didn't find her today. The cop who helped us is a dog lady. She's had two akitas and a beagle. Now she's got a kid and no dogs. aaanyway She got me to think like Penny and when I did, I found her right where I expected her to have gone.

I'm good with pets, just not fish!

Thumper is a Lion Head rabbit

he has a whole mane of hair around his head - I will have to look around to see if Kara has a picture some where

Tigg, glad to hear that Penny is ok.

I LOVE pets.. more than people usually!! I know.. Brian makes fun of me all the time for it. But you know what it is.. they give unconditional love... they dont talk back and are always happy to see you at the end of the day.

That said.. I have cats.. my cat names are: Figaro, Marie and Sassy.. Yes All Disney character names for (drum roll please) Cats!! Cinnamon passed away in January and I was devasted. She was 10 yrs old. Her name was not Disney related.. she looked like Cinnamon toast all swirled up!

Did I mention how I dvr'd the Disney Cruise Line special from the Travel channel?? oh.. no? Yeah.. that was like 2 weeks ago. Have I mentioned that I have watched it like 4 times since then??? One of those being last night!?!?!? :rotfl:

I am so excited.. its getting closer.

Yesterday I Claudia and spent the day in various doctors offices and the hospital for my presurgery appointments. Very boring and eye openning at the same time.

When we were finished Claudia said, they are basically going to rip your lips off (that's it honey, don't try and sugar coat it). We thought he was just doing the bottom jaw, but he will cut the bottom and the top jaws into three segments each and realign my bite. He will also take off the end of my chin and move it forward to "balance" my face, and remove two wisdom teeth. I have a very nice surgeon and from what I've been told from may people the best in the business.

The best part of this whole deal is thanks to Canada's universal medicare system, the whole thing costs nothing.

Tig, I'm so glad you found your dog. My dog left the yard December 2, 2000 (she never, ever left the yard), and we never found him. Stayed up all night looking for him. We all cried for a long time(had him before kids). Months later, someone found his collar (still buckled) in a creek close by us and called us. We assumed the worse and cried again. It's hard not knowing what happened. So glad yours ended happily!

Brenda, so happy your doggy story ended happily too!!!

I just adore dogs. My daughter Kelly helped out at a shelter for a while for service hours for school. It was hard for her.

Judy
Wow Judy = that is really tough....our Niner is gone now...but he lived a good 15 yrs...VERY GOOD years i might add - & that is rare for a dalmatian - but we do have his ashes right along side his scrapbook....i'm so sorry & sad you didn't get closure with your dog....

NIIIIIICE!!!! so NOT like the USA;)

Boring? Ok, are we talking about the fish that can eat a cow down to it's skeleton???

Yes. The very same...but...when they are in a tank and fed regularly they are not as agressive. I wouldn't put my hand in there or anything like that but we'd give them goldfish and they'd only eat when noone was looking. We had three and they'd hang out together looking like parallel parked cars. boring.

I bet he looks cool! I'd love to see a pic of him~

We are only a no rabbit household cause John and I have enough to take care of without the kids adding to the menagerie. The local farm fair is this week and one of my absolute favorite exibits is the rabbits. John's are the fancy chickens and ducks.

That is exactly what I love about our dogs. Unconditional Love and no backtalk, ever. I like cats, they are so independant and still loveable. Now that I am allergic to them we cannot get any more. The one we have is 18yo! and senile...oh boy is she wacko. But she's still healthy, so she's still around.

My area cable company STILL doesn't offer the travel channel. They have us by the you-know-what's tho cause it's the only channel that offers Flyer's games :(

Wow Artman...I've seen that kind of surgery (probably on Discovery or extreme makeover) and it seems drastic but worth it. I pray you a speedy recovery. another wow! Doncha just love your healthcare system. America really needs to take lessons from other countries since our healthcare set up is such a mess.

Tigg, is it possible to get Direct TV in your area??? That is what we have..

I wish there was a way I could send it to you!!

I soooooo can not wait for this cruise. I have to have it paid off by 9/12 so I can utilize the early booking through the REAS. I am making room on our Chase Disney card, so that we get 1) the points and 2) the free financing for 6 mths.

Anyone else making plans to pay soon, or has everyone been making payments all along. like smart individuals!!! lol :rotfl:

The whole chin thing makes it seem kinda extreme makeoverish, that was not the origional purpose, you should see how my teeth don't fit together and how they are wearing. Anyway while they are doing it I might as well get the full meal deal.

Here is a computer drawing of what they think I will look like.

We could get satellite but then we'd get no Flyers games. This household really revolves around the team from sept to may every year. Comcast has their own channel and as far as I can tell satellite companies around here don't offer it.

Every vacation house and room we use seems to offer the travel channel so every vacation I tend to leave our tv on that station. Drives John nuts ;)

We like watching Globe trekker at home but those people rarely go to Disney :(

That's a GREAT look Artman! Does it come with the red suit too? ;)

Aisling, if I find out you have been using your goldfish for the newest fad in pedicures, I will be calling PETA. You don't want Pamela Anderson on your case, do you?:)

BTW, I am in no way suggesting your feet would have the power to kill an otherwise healthy creature. ;)

YUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I saw that on the news! No thanks, I'll keep having my Korean lady do my toes, no fish will be nibbling on my feet! I did hear it feels kinda good, though. But just the thought of it...

Artman, you're so cute the way you make sure you don't come off as offensive! Don't worry, we know you already, be as offensive as you want!:lmao:
