Aisling...why do Chad & Lou have front of the line access????? how can i get that? Glad they are having fun...Ry saw Dark Knight too & really liked it, he's in Tahoe this week with DGF's family so DH & I are childless - we actually have a 'date' this wkend...probably dinner & a movie - so most likely we'll see DK...i too have heard nothing but excellent reviews on the movie and Heath~

I didn't 'pre-order' the water - but i did order it once we boarded (i didn't on our 1st cruise) and wished i had - so i definitely did for the 2nd. There were guys all over the upper decks selling the cases....to me (& i only drink btld water - yes i am a water snob) it was WELL worth it! I always had water....

Aisling - was just reading thru Jill's link to the cruise critic....it was Evian in April 07....not sure if that ever changes...but that's what i got at that time...if that makes any difference to you....

Hi everyone!

We were in PA at the Buffett concert yesterday. Had a great time!!!!!

Artman--great joke, I'll have to send it to my husband at work.

Kelly--glad you had a great trip.

About the water--you can also buy it in Key West while we are there. We have bought beer there and brought it on board with no questions asked. If you like to drink water a lot (like all 5 of us do), it would be easier with the bottles.

Must do laundry...

Judy

Good news, everyone! Marla and Kara are linked with us for dinner! Let the fork sculpturing begin!

Brenda, if you book a room on property at one of the 3 Universal hotels, you show your room key card at each attraction and you get front-of-the-line access! They call it Express Access, and we wouldn't do Universal without it. It even works for the table-service restaurants if you don't have a reservation. You show the card, and they give you the next avalable table. It's a fantastic perk for staying onsite.

Hi Judy!
I dont' think we're linked yet....i sent a note to my TA but no response yet; so thinking she is out of town...can i call DCL & do it myself?????

Ahhh - that's cool about the front of the line access....but i had forgotten they are at Univ....probably not anything i'd ever do...(stay there that is....when i'm in MCO - i NEED to be at Disney)

Brenda, it has to be done through the TA handling your ressie, so when she gets back (if she's not around, she should call DCL with my ressie number just to "confirm" the link. But according to DCL we're linked. As Nan would say, clear as mud?

I had no real plans for today...got woken up and thrown out of bed tho cause Dad lost our little dog!

He didn't mean to...she got outside when John was leaving for work and then thunder hit, she freaked out and ran! Apparently she found a little gap in the back fence cause I found her 3 hours later in a backyard a street over from us. John came home cause I called him in a frenzy, crying. I didn't want to blame dad but was having a hard time with it and couldn't even talk to him while we were looking.

We have (had now cause John filled it and the gap in) a HUGe groundhog hole in where the pond was supposed to go. We called roto rooter out cause they have one of those cable cameras and they checked the hole for the dog. Thank GOD she wasn't in there. My neighbor and I started expanding our search area and I found her in a yard next to a business that's on the highway near here.

I am forever grateful that she was scared (enough to bite me when I tried to pick her up) but ok. It's cool how the neighbors and cops and even the roto rooter guy joined us in the search for my little Penny.

Can you believe after all that, my FIL let her out just now and she beelined for the same hole in the fence! There's no way I woulda let John leave without fixing it but Wow! ami glad he fixed it! (stupid dog :( )

aaaaggghhh - i HOPE she gets to it SOON!!!!

OMG - glad it all turned out okay...that is the worst thing...i remember Niner being lost all night one year (4th of July) - we were gone, he got out of the garage - he HATED the fireworks - we searched & searched - & the next morning we searched again - i didn't sleep at all...i was certain something horrible had happened....but finally mid morning, as i'm on my way down to the levy / creek 'yet' again - as it was a place we took a lot of walks, here comes my friend & he's in the front seat of her Explorer....he HAD been at the creek all night - i'm sure COWERING below some branches or rocks or whatever - he was SOOOOO happy to see me & me him! straight to the bathtub he went!!

Tig, I was having anxiety just reading what happened! The poor little thing, poor YOU! What a relief, I hope you had a stiff drink and are relaxing now after all that!

Aisling, I've had a couple...I am very grateful I didn't have to deal with anything today. She completely wore me out with worry~and that was only three hours! Brenda, wow. all night? Poor thing, poor you~It tore me apart thinking what could've happened to her.

She also went immediately into the tub...

she was really muddy when I found her.

I just looked at the album Chad made from Italy...I swear, if his political career ever bottoms out he should totally become a photographer! Great Job Chad! Gorgeous photos! Seriously. Gorgeous!

Tig, I'm so glad you found your dog. My dog left the yard December 2, 2000 (she never, ever left the yard), and we never found him. Stayed up all night looking for him. We all cried for a long time(had him before kids). Months later, someone found his collar (still buckled) in a creek close by us and called us. We assumed the worse and cried again. It's hard not knowing what happened. So glad yours ended happily!

Brenda, so happy your doggy story ended happily too!!!

I just adore dogs. My daughter Kelly helped out at a shelter for a while for service hours for school. It was hard for her.

Where is this album of Chads? i haven't seen a link...did i miss it?

okay - that is SOOOOO spooky....i just had this feeling to go to myspace page & there's your comment/link about Chad's album...i think you're telepathic!!!!

This is our cat Rosie with her sleeping partner Bearie.

Bearie?? :rotfl: I see you're as creative as I am, naming my fish Fishie and my frog Froggie!

Cute kittie! And no weight jokes from me!:rolleyes1

Judy, that's so sad about your dog.

It's Owen's bear not mine (Ya sure it is Artie). Anyway he actually gave it a legit name, I think it was Tommy. I couldn't remember the name so I always called it Bearie, and it stuck.

Hey, at least the cat's name isn't Kitty, even though that's what I always call her.

Kara's rabbit is Thumper

the guinea pigs - they had a variety of names
