Now that's a good one, corny but good!:rotfl2: I told it to my DH, but he didn't laugh...I think I have a problem with my comedic timing!

Ok, I'll pull out my best material for you, I'm counting on you for a flawless delivery. :lmao:

A man and his wife were going on a cruise for their honeymoon. They packed their bags and got ready to go but forgot two things - condoms and dramamine, since the man gets terrible motion sickness on ships.
So the man and his wife stop at the store on the way to the cruise, and the man goes in to get the necessary supplies. He walked up to the counter with a plenty-pack of condoms and asked for the largest bottle of Dramamine available.

The pharmacist looked at him for a second and then asked, "If it makes you so sick, why do you do it?"

Ok, Mel will definitely laugh at that one!

Good morning, crew!
I can't believe it's Thursday already; the week has gone by so fast.

We got new neighbors yesterday, a young Pakistani couple with two small children. The woman wears the traditional pretty sari-type clothes. I live on a very diverse block, India and the Caribbean on the other side of me, Lebanese, Italian, and Jews across the street, Irish down the block, it's really nice. There's a house for sale across the street, if anyone's interested! But to be honest, I don't know how average people can afford to buy houses/condos or even rent around here anymore. The house next door sold for $465,000, and it's small and attached on one side with a shared driveway, unfinished basement, no yard to speak of, just a patch of grass. Thank God we bought when we did in 1998, when houses were going for $175,000. It's insane how the prices have gone up so dramatically. But people are still buying, and new buildings are going up everywhere. There's no room to go but up, and the residential buildings are getting taller. On almost every block you'll see single family homes right next to massive apartment buildings. Million dollar homes everywhere, but those homes would be half the price if located elsewhere like upstate NY. It really is out of control, the crazy costs to live here. It's a shame. But as crowded and financially rip-offsky as it is, I really love living here. Ok, enough NYC real estate analysis!

So what's everone up to today?

Morning....just a quick flyby....BUSY this week - well - we'll be busy for the next several months...working 10-12 hrs / day....uggghhh

Artman - LOVE your jokes!

Aisling...Chad looks a lot like Mel! and i really like the photo of them years ago too....how cute!!!!

OLD photos????? You won't many of those at my house - they are all "SAFELY" preserved in 'photo-safe' Creative Memories scrapbooks!!!!
Have a great thursday - back later!

This was NYE at 5 AM, (well, technically New Year's Morning) after some hard partying, and it shows on her poor self!:rotfl2: She usually doesn't look that, uh, horrid!:rotfl:

I hate seeing pictures of myself but love finding old pictures of Owen when he was little.
5 am! I bearly make it to New Years lately. I'm gonna need a nap that day.

BTW None of my sister's dresses fit me. There um...out of style..(aka - too small):rolleyes1
Looks like I'm going to have to do some shopping after all.

This time of year the big department stores are probably clearancing their fancy dresses ::yes::

Hi Guys:

Checking in from the Hyatt MCO. We travelled all day today to get here. Good times ahead.

Sad news. This morning Paul woke me up screaming come help Casey can't get up. Long story short, we put her down this morning before our flight. Much tears and sadness, but she is in a better place and running free and seeing my Dad:hug: . I think she chose this morning to let go as she wanted me to be with her and I was. It was a very peaceful and calming process.

Gosh I love that girl.

We are hanging around here tomorrow, not going to plan anything, Paul is overwhelmed at trying to get to Space Center. That's ok. He is greiving and we can all take a day of nothing right now.

We leave Saturday with the crazies bunch of people (oops friends) I've known in a while, at least a few DIS years.

Check for an live thread, I'm sure I'll be gabbing it up. Sorry I haven't been keeping up. Overwhelmed just a bit.

LYMI,

Nan

p.s. you still should have come with me you Xmas 2005 Disers.....:rolleyes1

Nan, I'm SO glad you checked in!!!
I went over to your cruise thread to see if you had left yet, and I read about your beloved doggie Casey. Hugs to you all, especially to Paul. So have fun, I'll be checking your live thread!!!!!!

Brenda, I'm a kid in a candy store when I'm in a dress shop! We would have TONS of fun shopping together! I can't wait to see Ryan all dressed up.:cool1: Glad you're doing so well, but you're a trooper and such a positive person, which I'm sure helps a lot with your healing.

Now Miss Tig, you haven't told us how you did on your chem test! Was it hard, easy, what???????? Enquiring minds want to know! EDITED TO ADD: I just saw you did indeed say it was hard!

About that cruise form, wow I never saw it in my last packet. I must have tossed it after just glancing at it. I hope I get it in the new packet, as I have no idea where to download it from...I always have trouble finding the obscure stuff on the DCL website.

Good morning Artman. You're up early this morning.

Good morning Artman. You're up early this morning.

I am in the Atlantic Time Zone, so I am an hour ahead. Still I get to work around 7:00 every morning.

Tig, I notice from your profile your a Flyers fan, good luck tonight. Your up against our hometown boy Sid the Kid (not a lot of support for your team here in Nova Scotia) Should be a great series :cheer2:

Tell us about Nova Scotia. I've read that winters are long and the coastline is rocky and gorgeous, like Ireland, but without all the green.

 Paul and Nan, I am so sad about Casey :(

I know how much she's been going thru all this time,

she was such a sweet, sweet puppy~
