I'm planning on remaining at 25. It had such a nice ring to it a few years back, I decided to keep it.

Just so you know my wife is borderline delusional about her age. She thinks everyone is about the same age as her. Just ask her:

Miley Cyrus?....I think she's a little younger than me.
Paris Hilton?....Oh ya, she's about my age.
Tina Turner?....She's more like mom's age (who by the way thinks she's like 34, so when you add these two delusions together Tina Turner is exactly the same age as my wife) :confused3 :rotfl2:

I however, am very well adjusted and have my crap together. If you don't believe me just ask me. :goodvibes

I fixed my cupholder so now I can Dis in the car without having to keep the laptop on the seat or on my lap!

Wow I look tired in that pic! I was up so late last night trying to get the cartilege earring out of my ear. The @#$%^&* thing wouldn't come out! Mel had to take it out with a pliars (spelling)!:scared1:

Grim, if you're lurking, Happy Mother's Day to Dede!

By the way, do you have a dog?

:lmao:

You are too cute Aisling...

John may now not be going camping, I am still going to come up for the sleepover the one night - this way I can take the train and leave Penny at home~

Hey , thanks. Happy Moms day to you too.

I got second place in the region.

I have a Moms day gift for you. I came straight home cause I still have bronchitis. Calling the doc tommorrow.

Did you know that candy companies make chocolate the shape of dog poo. That way you could fool someone into thinking you are eating your doggie doo. (ew)

Happy Moms day to all

When are you off next?

I have one more test tomorrow and then am off for about a week~

Jill's such a lady...she says poo and we say crap!:rotfl2:
When my kids were little, I told them that the word crap was a curse and they weren't allowed to say it. Jesse still won't say it in frony of me.:rotfl:

I know holding deck chairs is a DCL no-no, but I think maybe I've discovered a loophole. ;)

I REFUSE to pack fake vomit for this cruise!!!!!!!!!!! (Even though my sons probably have some in their old toy box!!)

Rainy, cold day today. I'm going to do some shopping, then home to grade my religion class's finals and do report cards.

Brenda, I think you've created a monster...ME! I never text message, but now that I have the hang of it, gee it's fun! We have an unlimited text message plan, so I can text to my heart's content. This may be just a faze, though, as I felt the same way when I first started using email, and then it just fizzled.:rotfl:

Just went thru the last two days of postings...boy i was busy this wkend...shopping & pedicures & planning the M/D BBQ at our house...but....

1st...Artman/Claudia....DO NOT believe everything you read on these threads....someone posted i'll be 50 when we sail....uh hum...i am FOREVER 40! have been for some time now!!!!:lmao:

2nd....Aisling - i LOVE that dress! what a great incentive...maybe i should go buy a dress in the size i want to be in....
btw - why did you take out the earring?
and yep texting can be a GREAT thing....you can always get info to someone even when you can't talk to them!

3rd...Jill - CONGRATS on your 2nd place!!!!

Hope everyone had a really wonderful mother's day!!!

It's been a month since the piercing, and although I'm a believer in it now, it still hurt enough to affect my sleeping. It wasn't infected, but just so sore, and I have a low tolerance for pain. I originally was attepting to replace the ring with a larger one, so give my ear some more room, as I felt the small ring was snug, but then I ruined it by halfway dislodging it, and not able to get it out all the way. It pinched and I panicked, so I needed Mel to pry it open to get it off. After he got it off, he tried to get the other ring in, OOOOOUCH, but the hole closed up immediately! No way was I going to have him force it in.

So now I'm back to my uncool self again.

And Jill, congratulations from me, too!:thumbsup2

No, please don't bring whoopie cushions! Whoopie cushions and rum drinks turn me into a giggling fool!

:lmao: :thumbsup2 :wizard: :rolleyes1

Rainy and crappy here today too...and cold :(

Congratulations Mom! I think I forgot to say that :upsidedow

Fake vomit packs pretty flat doesn't it? I know whoopie cushions do ;)

Hey everyone!!! Just got back on Friday from our 8 night stay at WDW. Trying to catch up with everything both personally and professionally. I haven't had time to go back and read everything yet. Also I got a few emails from folks with updates to the website so I hope to get those done this week as well.

Hope everyone is doing well!!!

I have been checking out the excursions for our various ports of call. Has anyone done the Dunebuggy or Jeep tour on Cozumel? Also I notice when you book through DCL the min. age is 10 (our son will be 8), but you can book direct with Island Marketing Ltd. and the min. age is 3 (it may not be the same tour operator).

I know a lot of people do not advise booking tours with anyone except directly through DCL, any advice?

Also does anyone have any recomendations for shore excursions?

Last time, we booked all of our excursions through DCL, but this time we're doing it differently.

For Key West, we're going to do the town on our own, taking the Trolley, and walking around. We're going to go to the Hemmingway House and raise a glass to ole Ernest. I heard from a reliable source (Kaz) that it's filled with cats, descendants of Hemmingway's cats, and there's a distinct odor of cat pee. :rotfl:

For Cayman, we're doing a private boat charter with a few Disers, I think the company is Native Way. They'll take us to snorkling spots, a beach, and I'm not sure what else. They also have a Mexican lunch available. So that won't be through DCL. We'll have two little ones on that excursion, Anjelica's children.

For Coz, I don't know yet, but we may split up, as I found a local lady who does a Mayan cooking experience, where we go to a local market, buy the foods, and then she shows us how to cook it. I like that because it;s not too long, and I really want to get into the local culture a bit, you know, off the beaten path. I may even do this alone while the rest of my crew does something else, and then if there's time, we may book something through DCL for the afternoon to do together. Jesse wants to do the ruins, so we'll see. I plan on having a family meeting this weekend and put everything out on the table and see exactly what they want to do.

For Castaway Cay, I want to get Mel up on a parasail, as he's never done it before, and it's a fun thing to do once in your life.

Artman, maybe you should start a thread on the main cruise board and ask specifically about those excursions, and see who has done them and what they say about it. I'm going to look into the dune buggy/jeep excursion, too, as I think my guys would enjoy that.

If you book through DCL, the boat won't leave you behind if you're delayed, but not so through private companies. However, I've been reading these boards for years, and I NEVER heard about that happening, where someone didn't make it back in time after an excursion. So I feel safe not using DCL. It usually costs less, too.
