This show is growing on me - when I first saw it I was like huh?

They are still tweaking the show, more effects are being added - including all kinds of thunder, wind etc

They all had a blast at Ohio State today - 32 bands in total competed - and then the OSU band came out- they did their pregame show, their current 1/2 show, the script Ohio and when it was all over Hang On Sloopy

Speaking of Ohio State, I heard they had a big win today over Wisconsin in football, I think? I'm not sure why, but the sports radio was saying it was an important game.

Ok I'm trying to push us to page 250 so that we start new and Artie can be WebMan!

So here's a question for everyone:

If you could work at any job in WDW, what would it be?

I'd like to work at City Hall in the MK, wearing that old time outfit and handing out Birthday Buttons. I know, it's not very exciting, but I was in there a few times and I really like the atmosphere.

Next?

GO BUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!

got to hear the start of the game in car - then the signal kept fading in and out - but got to watch 2nd 1/2

sure hope the kid calls soon - the entire clarinet section went on a haunted hayride for some 'bonding' time - like they haven't been together since 9:00 a.m. this morning

Great news! Now you can :cool1: !

Bundle up at that football game, Judy!

Look what I found in a thrift shop for $28!! It's an authentic Roger Van S handbag from the late 1950s, which should really be worth about $200 today! I grabbed it, even though I felt a twinge of guilt that they obviously didn't know what a vintage treasure they had! Oh well! I can't wait to use it. I wish they had matching shoes, but I'm not sure if Roger Van S did shoes. I've always loved his handbags and accessories from the old black & white glamour movies.

Dosn't beat my $37.00 Tuxedo!!!!

I can see Artie playing Goofy because of his height, and Claudia as Snow White because she has such a wholesome face.

I would like to be a ride operator at the Tower of Terror, I've always wanted to be a bellman. "Welcome to the Hollywood Hotel, drop in soooooooon".

Think I would like to be a monorail driver - since I use to steal one during our old chat parties here

if not that - maybe drive one of the Illuminations or Wishes cruise boats

yipee - the kid just called - they are 1/2 hr away from home

:cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

That's actually not too far off from what I did - but I was in the ticket booths on the other side of the Seven Seas Lagoon. I sold tickets to the parks, and would very frequently give out birthday buttons. But, trust me, the Guest Relations CMs have to deal with a whole lot more than handing out birthday buttons and making dining reservations... think about it, it's where the rest of us send the difficult guests!

I definitely wouldn't mind being a Guest Relations CM though, since they have the authority to really make some magic for guests. But, as of right now, I'm just shooting for an internship with the marketing folks out in Celebration!

Marla, you're such a mom!  :thumbsup2

You mean you want to scare the bejaysus out of poor innocent scairdycats!
By the way, Rus, I saw a photo of you on Brenda's myspace...are you a hockey ref?? Either that, or you picked up the wrong uniform at the drycleaners!:rotfl2: Somewhere out there, there's a hocky ref skating around wearing a cop uniform!

I can handle that. I'd just tell them I'll get Maleficient on their behinds if they don't behave! Seriously though, I never thought of it that way, and you have a good point!

Now what's this about wanting to get into marketing? What exactly would you be doing?

And Marla, what do you mean you stole the monorail during chat????

I think maybe someone is out to get me. Good question though, if you had asked what everyone's favorite flavor of jello is (or something like that) I may have taken it personally. :)

That or the Queen of Hearts.

Claudia as Snow White because she has such a wholesome face.

But, I thought it was what was on the inside that counts. ;)

We did the Fort Wilderness segway tour last year, one of the guys that led the tour told me that they do the segway thing in the day and do wishes cruises at night.

I think that would be a pretty good gig.

I like orange jello with whipped cream on top.;)

It's funny you mention the Queen of Hearts...she had it out for me all through the cruise, I don't know why. Everytime she was around, she'd head straight for me, and I had to keep reminding myself that this was just someone in a costume. She scared me!

Is the queen you are looking for here?

I wouldn't mess with her if I were you.:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I'm telling your personal trainer!

Go ahead, tell on me! It's sugarfree orange jello with zero carb chemical-filled artifically sweetened Cool Whip!:rotfl:

I'll post this unflattering pic of myself just to prove she was after me:

Look, she even has her hand raised, like she was getting ready to smack me in the head!! I was just sitting there minding my own business!

Keep her away, please!

Jill, it looks like you were going to protect me!
