Aisling, did you ask for a certain server???? I'd love the one we had last time, can't recall his name right now. I wasn't in love with who we had on the repo I'll think of their names and let know. I think it was Donivan??? Is that right????

Aisling :

This is to sponsor Wilson's racing career. It's all good :thumbsup2

Sec. 317. Seven-year cost recovery period for motorsports racing track facility.

We arrive on the 26th. Our plan of action (as I want to see the parks decorated) is to go to MGM (yes, I know.. the name changed, but as stated previously, it will forever be MGM to me) walk around take in the sites.. hit Hollywood Brown Derby for dinner (I think the ressie is at 8pm) then from there, head over to MK and walk Main Street, see the castle, check out the stores.

If we do any rides, it will be at MGM on TSM LOVE that ride.. OMG.. the best.

I wrote his name in the photo title so I wouldn't "lose" it, it's Deneval

I'll even throw my photobucket link in for anyone who'd like to see our pics...

Marla - 4 parks in one day the day after Christmas - WOW!!!! I couldn't do it with the 2 little ones but again its 2 little ones vs. very able bodied teenagers in tow. We actually planned on going to Epcot the day after Xmas as that is "apparently" the least busiest or so I have heard. Again - we have little to zero expectations as we have not gone at peak time ever. I just love the atmosphere.

Nskjerven - we had really great servers on our cruise last September as well. I don't have their names handy right now but I put those out there a few months ago. Honestly we are happy with whatever everyone decides - I think the more requests you put in the more likely the 1st, 2nd requests would be met vs. the 3rd, 4th. Aisling would have more of an idea of what she requested as 1st - being the rotation I believe and then 2nd - the time I thought but my memory fades me...:) Your server picture - he looks like he is having a great time.

Hope everyone else is doing good!!!

Deneval was a great server. Always Happy, very attentive...

Here he is at our last meal (breakfast.) Ronette was his assistant:

Anjelica, did someone here already request a server???

I remember this convo (sort of) from a while ago :scratchin

I think no one really had a request for a specific server and I threw out our server/co-server names. But it wasn't high on the priority list for the Dinner linking as the more requests we had the less we would get. I think the #1 priority was the rotation and again I can't recall #2 but I think the server name/co-server was #3. Aisling would have a better idea - I'm sure she will jump on soon - she typically doesn't leave us for to long...:)

Anjelica, I do believe that you were the only person w/a server recommendation.

I have to say, I have never had a bad server on DCL!

I looked at my balance on my Disney Visa.. DONT ASK ME WHY.. lol.. and it yelled OUCH back at me. Can you believe the nerve of that card?!?!? LOL

Aisling is UNUSUALLY quiet yesterday and today. hmmmmmm.....

Our repo server wasn't that great. Our drink server even not good. I had to complain about having drinks brought to us during dinner. I think the bar was set so high with our first server and drink server that anyone else wasn't going to cut it. Deneval & Ronette paid extra special attention to our kids and that took a great deal of stress off of us at the dinner table. It was great having someone else watch over them, remembering what they liked making suggestions and even at times cutting up meat for them :thumbsup2

They really did!

Especially formal night when Wilson fell asleep at the table. They literally did everything they could to make sure he was comfortable and taken care of. What's really nice about this upcoming cruise is that both Wilson and Molly have kids their own age in "our group."

Our new CM cruiser duo should def talk to Aisling's Chad about what a twenty year old can do on the Disney Magic. Chad was completely convinced he'd have a lousy time being a tweener. Over 18 and under 21. I saw him many times during the cruise with other twenty somethings having an absolutely fabulous time during our cruise.

Hi Kids,

very long, busy day today. I didn't even make it to the gym. It closes at 11pm, so I still have time, but my tummy is bothering me. I'm lactose intolerant, and it seems to be getting worse in my old age. I'm so nauseus just from eating a few M&Ms, so anything with milk chocolate is out from now on.

When I made the dining link, all I asked for was the rotation with Formal Night in Lumiere. I could never remember our servers name, even when we were on the cruise, I kept referring to him as Darnell. I have to call about linking Nan's gang, so should I ask for him? Anjelica, who was your server?

Aisling, if you like Milk, try buying Silk...

It's what Brittany drinks. It's soy milk, she likes the Vanilla flavored. The vanilla adds a nice little flavor to coffee and she likes it in her cereal.

... just sayin ...

I'm headed to a Cranberry Festival today with my friend Rose her hubby Ed and my hubby. It's more like a street fair, arts & crafts, wine & food...it's a nice day out.

We did one trip 3 parks and then back to the MK for one of their old extra nights where you bought tickets - think we finally crawled back to the Contemporary about 3:00 a.m. - I remember the CM at the MK laughing at our hand stamps that day

heading off to Ohio State University for marching band competition after a bit

beautiful day here in Ohio - sun is shining and crisp fall nip to the air

Welcome Jeff and Ally! Glad you found the extra room. That's what my TA did to get our friends on this cruise.

Off to the football game.

I had to turn the heat on in the house. I hate doing that. We're closing the pool tomorrow.

Marla, what songs are in Kara's half time show. Our kids play 3 Bon Jovi songs. We were going to do a second show, but since we won't make the playoffs this year, they stopped learning it. Our senior night is the 24th.

12 weeks to go!!!!!

Judy

We just found the room that we needed! Two or three people checking three or four times a day each paid off!

Great news! Now you can :cool1: !

Bundle up at that football game, Judy!

Look what I found in a thrift shop for $28!! It's an authentic Roger Van S handbag from the late 1950s, which should really be worth about $200 today! I grabbed it, even though I felt a twinge of guilt that they obviously didn't know what a vintage treasure they had! Oh well! I can't wait to use it. I wish they had matching shoes, but I'm not sure if Roger Van S did shoes. I've always loved his handbags and accessories from the old black & white glamour movies.
