We were going to come in on Jan 1, but it's looking like it might be NYE instead. We have never been on NYE before, looking for a bit of help.

We wont arriveuntil 5 30 pm, and not on property until 7 30. Staying at Beach Club for the night.

1. I assume we will not be able to get in to any parks that late in the day

2. Is there somewhere we can see the fireworks out of a park ( poly beach- is it open to non poly? we are DVC members there but not moving there until Jan 1) or what about along the walk to IG from beach club to epcot?

3. DTD? anything going on there?

any tips and advice are greatly appreciated. Would love to go into Epcot or hollywood studios just for the atmosphere. I can make adr- will that help us get in?

4. what time are the fireworks? is there an early show and a late show? what about at HS?

I arrived this past NYE and we entered Epcot at 6:30 with no problem. It was a a lot of fun celebrating in the park, of course it was crowded.

1. You're staying on property so you can get into any park unless it's full on phase 4 closure. Highly unlikely that any park will reach full closure, but if it does, it'll only be MK. I would avoid MK on NYE anyways, Epcot is the better park to be at. So if you want, you can definitely go to Epcot when you arrive.

2. You can see fireworks from various spots outside the parks, but don't waste your time. You'll want to be in the park. Especially at Epcot, the fireworks are amazing but there's a lot more going on as well.

3. I don't believe much is don't at Disney Springs. They might have some small stuff but it won't be like any of the parks.

4. Fireworks at Epcot were shot off around 6:30, then at midnight for the big ones.

Hollywood studios will have fireworks but the atmosphere won't be anything like MK or Epcot. MK will be a nightmare to get to from long lines to park, to ferry or monorail lines, then wall to wall people in the park.

Epcot was great this past NYE. It's huge so it doesn't feel as crowded. There's a bunch of drink tables set up with some of the cheapest beer prices on property, free hats and whistles given out, dance parties with DJ's at different countries. It's fun.

If you were arriving earlier I'd recommend doing what we did which was be at MK on December 30th to see their NYE fireworks (they do the test run the night before), then be at Epcot on NYE. See both fireworks show and avoid the crowds at MK.
