NYE at Epcot.

Can anyone tell me what they do at Epcot special for NYE besides the special Illuminations? We have done MK in the past, and once is enough It was definatley magical at about 11:50, but the rest of the day was just too crowded!
So this year we are going to do Epcot but I didn't know if they have any special activities. Thanks if you can help!

In my experience, EPCOT was much more crowded on NYE than Magic Kingdom was.

You can go around the World Showcase, 'celebrating' each country's New Year time as each comes up. I sorta half remember that (wink wink).

!was at EPCOT for the 1999-2000 NYE. TRhe had a DJ set upin the court yard for italy, concerts in the UK, ect ect....basically, they had extra shows in each land or coutry to try and divert crowds from the main walk way.

I just remember walking around aimlessly all day l;ong from 8:00am to about 10:00pm, where we finally tried in vain to stake out a spot for Illuminations.

I have done NYE in EPCOT, MGM, and MK. MGM was the most manageable. But you could not get me to go back again. It was a nice, been there, done that part of my life....
