We’re thinking of spending NYE at DHS. We’re at MK on the 30th and are trying to decide between EP and DHS for NYE.

I do have H&V holiday dine booked for our party of 6 already which is making me lean towards DHS.

I keep imagining all that open space at EP compared to the narrow DHS streets & of course the SWGE factor this year.

Anyone else having a similar debate or pointers either way? We’re at AoA so the skyliner will hopefully be convenient transportation to either park, so busing is not a consideration. TIA.

IMO, the only way to do WDW at that time of year is MK on 12/30, Epcot on 12/31. Fireworks and just the whole vibe of those 2 parks in general are amazing.

EPCOT gets lit on NYE. With multiple dance parties going on around world showcase and other fun activities in Future World it makes it a fun place to spend NYE. The countdown projected onto the golf ball makes the night. Just be ready for 2-3 hour waits for buses and if you have a car 4+hours to get out of lot. Unfortunately I didnt film my experience, but if you want a good estimate of crowds and experience watch this TimTracker video where he was at EPCOT for New Year's.

Epcot is amazing on NYE. A big street party with bands, DJ's, all kinds of entertainment and (of course) revelers. Just wow. If, after midnight, you plan to escape through the International Gateway to the BC parking lot with an Uber or Minivan waiting to avoid the crazy crowds and delays, we’ll see u there! ;)
