NYC tourist help

Just a little update:

We went into the city yesterday. Had a great time, thanks for everyones suggestions.

We did go through a little of the South Central Park, had lunch at John's Pizza, and actually went inside St. Patricks Cathedral, never been inside before, amazing.

We did figure out the subway and went down to Canal Street. Let's just say, once was enough. Mulberry St was nice and decorated for the holiday.

Love the city and want to take to the kids soon. They will love the Nintendo store, but no Canal Street for them.

Where do you live that you have never been in St. Pat's?

I live in PA and for whatever reason we've always walked by, but never went inside. It was a little weird, people were taking pictures and talking while a service was going on. Like a Mass for tourist? I just felt like we were intruding on the service.
