Enjoyed our two day visit in New York, except that it was very hot.

Yay! We made it! I see the tweens should meet at 9:45. Hope everyone has a magical voyage!

Very easy drive in from Long Island. A little bit of traffic problems because of the 12th avenue closure due to the ironman triatholon, but we were parked and in the terminal by 1030. Lots of standing around, but we were on board before noon, so that was great. Spent the day hanging on deck 9 near the family pool. Now awaiting lifeboat drill with a glass of champagne.

Well, I have them already. Had a wonderful cruise. Went very quickly. My only disappointment was that we missed the dis meet on Monday and we were unable to connect faces with the names....I am sure we passed by one another several times on board. My girls only got to connect with one other girl, as they did not spend much time in the club overall... Although they may have been next to one another and never knew it either!

Saw a thread about using Facebook for dis meets...sounds so obvious now to use it and share pics ahead of time to help with the getting to know you and then recognizing one another on the ship! Kinda like a DUH moment for me! Oh well, next time!

I'd like to thank all who participated in the FE gift exchange. Loved all the fun and thoughtful gifts! It made our trip that much more magical!

Thank you for organizing the FE. It was quite fun for my daughter! She delivered everything and I was just in charge of holding the bag!!

Your gifts were amazing and so thoughtful! Thank you!

We also missed the meet. I remembered at noon!!

My daughter only went to Edge the first night and one other time. She didn't really like it. No problem! I think she emailed your daughter before though! Do you live in NJ and does your daughter love horses?! She wanted to meet that girl!!

Agree that a FB group for the next cruise might be good too.

Alas I did not book online so will need to think about when to cruise again. Hopefully soon!

We think we want to try the Fantasy next summer!

I agree about the Facebook miss... I too went looking for the dis meet, but couldn't figure out who was part of our group... Oh well - next time. Thank you to all for the wonderful FE gifts. Everyone was so creative & your thoughtfulness was appreciated! All in all it was an AWESOME trip!!!!

Hi All,
It really was a magical cruise. We are so thankful for the wonderful weather we had. The 4 grandchildren had a great time. There are so many wonderful memories. Our servers were superb and made every dinner special. We enjoyed dressing up for pirate night and semi formal night, and decorating the doors. Heard a lot of nice comments as people passed by. The character pictures are so cute. A big thank you to disers whose advice helped make this a perfect cruise for our family of 10. Looking froward to the next one some day. It was so nice being spoiled! Take good care. It has been fun being on this Disney Meet.

It is too bad I missed the meet.... Facebook next time! However, my niece did meet a few of the tweens. She liked Edge when someone she knew was there. We did try to contact the tweens she didn't meet using the wave phones, but sometimes it just didn't send the message! She was sad to not meet Emily Z.

I have some cruise blues, but I must say I enjoyed my own bed last night! And the lack of moths. We had a moth infestation! I was terrible sad to realize I had to cook dinner last night!

Did you get my FE gift? It was in a party goodie bag with a bag topper that said, "Have a Magical Cruise." Our cabin # was on the back (7548). I have a feeling there was some thievery going on as we didn't receive the correct number of gifts. I'll feel badly to hear that any of ours went missing.

I didn't book onboard, but I'm definitely looking forward to the next cruise!

We are sad to have missed the meet too. Just too much going on! We had a great time and loved our dining team; Ana from Serbia and Richard from the Philippines. They were great! We were sad to say good-bye to them yesterday AM. So glad we participated in the FE, DD had fun putting them in all of the FE's. Thank you for all that participated, we loved all of our treats!

Sorry we missed the meet up. We ended up going to the DVC member social at the same time. My girls loved getting the FE gifts, but I think they enjoyed delivering them just as much. Thank you to everyone who made this cruise special.

We loved your FE gift! Thank you! I also love how it was creatively packaged! I need to learn how to do that for next trip!

We also didn't receive all of our FE gifts which I only know because my daughter was so excited she was taking photos of everything as it came (and she doesn't even know about these boards, lol!) She commented that we didn't get one from everyone and I told her perhaps someone walked past and helped themselves That was hard for her to understand but I explained sometimes it happens!

We loved all the gifts we got and look forward to our next cruise and FE (since I worked so hard on the FE, I want it to enjoy another cruise!!)

BTW, we took pictures of everyone's door/FE but forgot ours!! If you happened to take a picture of ours, will you let me know? I'd love to get a copy!

It wasn't on the ship. Perhaps just for the inaugural sailing? I did buy the photo her with the bumper sticker in Shutters. It was $5 but I thought nice to have.

We enjoyed meeting you, your mom and daughter also at breakfast. It was a nice surprise. And talking with you on the river cruise. The cruise was so relaxing. We actually saw you in so many places. It was fun. Enjoy the summer. All the best. Marilyn
