NYC Pin Buying Meet

Calling all New Yorkers , and pin friends from the Tri-State area (other states are welcome too) I plan on going to the NYC Disney Gallery Store on 5th ave (I'll give info at the bottom of this post) on September 22 for the initial release of Walt's 100th birthday count-up pins. I think it would be really cool to have a gathering of pin friends. This is not a formal pin meet it's just a gathering of Dis friends picking up pins. The only thing I ask is if you can wear somrthing that identifies you as a Dis member (ex. Dis pin or a Dizpins pin even sonething colored "Dis Green") Afterwards we could all go over to the Sony Public Space to swap stories and chug down some Starbucks coffee. Hi Gang,

I'll be working hard that day....not in the Gallery any more but on the first floor. Be sure and stop by and say hello as you dash upstairs to the Gallery for your pins. If I hear anything about how and where in the store the pins will be distributed I will be sure to let you all know.

Hi Larry and Linda,

From my understanding, won't the new pins be sold in Linda's new area, the regular Disney Store and not within the gallery.

Linda, this is what Trish from upstairs had told me, as well as other DS CM's.

We have not heard officially, but Trish is probablly right. They are looking to promote these pins throughout the store and not just in the Gallery. I promise to keep you all posted.
