I'm still baffled what to do about getting to the airport (JFK) post-cruise.
We (2 adults & a 5 year old) planned to use a car service, but it sounds like complete chaos trying to connect with your driver outside of the port. I'm not opposed to a taxi (just think the car would be more comfortable), but it sounds like lines for taxis can be 30-45 minutes long, which i wouldn't be anxious to do with an overtired 5 year old coming off a cruise.
Could any of you that have gone through debarkation and used public transportation give some advice/thoughts/recommendations? I'd really appreciate it; I really didn't think this would be a worry...usually we have no trouble getting to/from the airports in NYC!
